The condemner is actually I guess a Hunter. They are looking to kill their target at night. They target a person at night and if that person is their target, that person dies. If not then nothing happens. At least unless they become a SK. They only know the targets character name so character claiming might be a bad idea. The Hider will not die if they try to hide behind mafia, so that is not a way to try to check alignments. Those are the two big things that were not clear ( at least to me) from the OP rules and setup information. I was confused so I asked. The kind mod gave answers. I think this makes me look a little differently at the people that didn't do very much on D1. Someone's game is mostly staying alive to take pot shots at night.

My take on the Rand and Moiraine conversation was that Rand saw that Moiraine was fully committed to his victory for the light. With no reservations. Remember that this about the time that Rand feels he has to become harder. I think this is the show representing that mindset.

I'm not putting any special weight to his opinions unless he comes out with a red peek on someone. So more the latter. If he makes a good case, I'd listen but I'm not following onto anyone without him claiming a peek.

I didn't check it when I was thinking earlier but Heavy left his vote on DPR so with a little time he could have been a viable train. Re: Dice, I understand why you think he's sketchy, but he's off the table for me until he gets cc'd. So im not even entertaining thoughts about him presently. You do you though.

So why didn't you switch to DPR? You knew your unvote was going to result in your town read dying. Once you were off Dice he was safe. Ironeyes could have voted him then too.

Partly, Dice should have claimed sooner if he was going to at all. Once he did it pretty much condemned Ironeyes. I don't know what Dice had him as, so.now more searching. Yay. I was trying to figure out what if any other viable trains were available at that point. My conclusion was none. I figured it was worth something. Meh

There were only 5 people talking in the room where it happened. Dice Rand Verb DPR Ironeyes I don't think anyone other than Dice or Ironeyes was ending up lynched once Dice claimed cop with 2 minutes on the clock. The only potential would have been Heavy and there wasn't enough time with the people there. Ironeyes would have voted him. I think Rand would have. I don't know about DPR. I don't think Verb would have. I don't know about Dice. Probably not important anyway. I blame @Darthe. Lololololol

How would the RB? They are mafia. Someone almost certainly is going to die tonight. If they use their strongman kill then someone is definitely dying, 2 if the hider hides wrong.

This was Rands reads.list during EoD1. He has Ironeyes as a town read so why would he.move directly tothatif he hoped he could get his next mafia read lynched( even if wrong in the hope). He then quickly realised and moved to secure the lynch. I think that checks out.

Because I misunderstood the condemner role. I just read it on the wiki. I thought it was like a vig/hit man kinda thing based on things I thought Darthe said. I didn't realise they had to lynch a player. That's what I get for being so sure about something to not check. I thought that the Condemner could kill their target since they became a SK. The mafia will kill someone.most likely. The hider could unfortunately hide behind a killed player. That would be 3. However, I was epically wrong. I'll just go sit in the corner for now.

Mo probably saved Mat's life from the dagger effects. I think Mat would think that reason enough. Heck just the fact it was someone he knew is probably enough for him to want to save them even though "He's no hero".
