Verb I think that you are town. Who would you shoot right now if you had a gun and had to use it?
-
Lessa, Do you think that Dar is Town?
-
Drops in to do some reading.
Guess I've got a few things to consider before casting a vote. Due tonight, right?
I've no more spells for today, so sorry I can't help any more.
REad and tell us what you think about the other players. That is the best way you can help.
-
Maybe we should look around in the first area or get Charis to open one of the other doors.
Looking around the room/corridor with the shiny doors.

As for finding scum, it's really early days so it's a bit like trying to catch a fish using a hand grenade. I try to think what would a Mafia member / scum do -
1.) try to stay below the radar, or
2.) target someone and try to rile the others up to vote for that person, or
3.) maybe just create mass confusion?
So far the person who most springs to mind ticks 2 of those boxes, that I can remember from my read of this thread now (sheesh you people post a lot!!), and that person is Daruya. She's confusing the heck out of me, at least. I really hope my suspicions are correct, because I'll feel very guilty if she's just trying to be helpful.
Vote: Daruya
Which 2 boxes do you think she is ticking?

More clues posted.
Professor Note: I will be working during the normal posting times tomorrow and it will be very late by the time I get home so I may be posting the clues early. I think that it won't be an issue because most of the guesses have been coming in very timely. But you must make your guess before the next set of clues have been posted to get maximum points.
Now turn to page 394... Oh wait wrong class.

There is a Large Hufflepuff chest that you can open by using the alohomora spell. Ben tried but he already used his spell today.

Slytherin. 93 %
Gryffindor 50 %
Turin was hungry. He had eaten some nice Chinese food for lunch but that was 2 hours ago and he was hungry again. He went to the great hall and found a troll eating the last of the dim sum. this made Turin quite cross. So he took out his wand and pointed it at the troll PETRIFRICUS TOTALICUS. The troll froze solid. WINGARDIUM LEVIOSO and Turin walked the now floating troll out into the yard just outside the owlery. He set the troll down in a solid area where the owls flew in and out of the owlery, and left it there.
He did come back in a day or so to find the troll's head and torso covered in owl poo

I'm glad I didn't sign up for this. I have no clue what's happening.
You may not know this James but unless you are in the game you really shouldn't post in the thread.
No harm done, and you might want to ask Adella for the dead thread link and then you can follow from there. It is in the sign up thread.

I understand Dar and some others looking a little too hard into the flavour of the game and trying to utilize that in a way to search. I do agree with Verbal however that in general it is somewhat counter productive and may be used by mafia as a place to hide in the conversation. I think we would do well to look more at actions.
My problem with Zep and his choice to explore Slytherin first is that the objects in Slytherin I thought would be more likely to be nefarious in nature and would be items the mafia might be eager to get their hands on. I'm not gonna ask Lessa to divulge her item and at present I am not going to reveal mine. I still believe my original hypothesis. The fact that his story about why he selected Slytherin first changed twice and ended up as stated it was for the lulz is sketchy to me.
This game is not necessarily the same as the book or film. In there it is clear that Cho was the unwilling leak due to Umbridge using veritas serum on her. So flavour wise I would expect the mafia team to be from the pool of Umbridge, Cho, Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, Filch. Names are unimportant tho since we KNOW that the mafia have fake claims and since there are many people in the DA that those fakes will most likely be very good. possibly even one of the big three.
So let's take a step back and focus people.

Don't dis the Hufflepuffs. I'm a Gryffindor but all the Houses have value.
Tonks was a Hufflepuff and she was awesome.
-
and my cursor apparently went for a walkabout without my knowledge.
-
Well done Ben. Did you say what house you were in?
We have more solvings...
Adella has solved the Chamber of Secrets and the Goblet of Fire memories.

It's only shade if you think it is an unreasonable idea to hold. So are you saying that if say Darthe came and hinted at being Neville you would go "yep. Legit. Darthe is definitely town."
-
I am asking you to explain your read. I have read the thread and I don't see waffling.
I just reread this entire thread on my phone at work, so I am confident that you can do the same on your pc at home. The whole door/thread thingWhat waffling by Dar?
