We do have to remember that, although it's not anyone's first game, some players are still quite new to this and some players have not played in a very long time. Hence the couple of super basic games, just to get everyone back into the swing of things.

but I am trying VERY hard to not make that a normal thing. This is why I made it very clear that no one can police how someone plays. We can get back the light fun atmosphere of DM. But yeah I am learning new rules as I go along, such as Self Votes won't count and no AtE in the game. If you are unable to continue in the game, I would first suggest a walk away break, and if it's still no bueno I would try to find a replacement.
