  1.   Was it really necessary for them to go down South by boat? Daenerys watched at changing scenary as passed arround them and was left behind. So many good opportunities lost. Had they went on foot, she would have had the chance for some small pranks. Being ants in the sleeping back, or some berries with certain effects on the human digestive system or in case inspiration left her - the good old poison ivy. But no, they had to take a ship and now Daenerys had no choice but to watch how opportunities went and she did not had the chance to take advantage. And on top of all, the Aes Sedai, Dany never bother to remember her name since the woman insisted on Dany addressing her by her title, kept lecturing her on how a Novice should behave, how should he address Aes Sedai, that she should curtsie to Aes Sedai, follow their instructions, and those of the Accepted leading a class without questioning them and so on. And worse of all, the woman refused to teach Dany anything about the One Power, not even how to grasp it until they were at the White Tower, until then, Dany could familairize herself with the list of tasks and rules Novices had to follow. It looks like the list of how a Novice should behave, act and the rules they had to follow had no end. Daenerys wonder how long will it take for all those rules to drive her insane, provided she followed them all. Which of course, she won't do. There was the fine art of bending the rules and not getting caught, and Dany was quiet adept at it. Well, adept enough not to get caught too often ...

Well the White Tower and the city itself was now in sight, and the captain said that they will be in Tar Valon in an hour or so. Well this made Dany even gloomier. She had not been able to to pull a single prank during the whole trip! She must be losing her touch. Well truth be told she did not had an opportunity until now, and she thought she never will until unexpectedly opportunity present itself. One of the deckhand, a young boy, her age at the most slipped and spilled the bucket of tar he was carrying. Laughter consumed the crew and the deckhand was sent bellow deck to for new bucket of tar. Later he would have to clean the mess he's made, but as the senior crewmen said, only after he has done his original task. Dany suspected that this was to give the tar a chance to get into the deck, making cleaning it a very difficuilt task and thus teaching the young deckhand to be surefooted next time. However, that thought was quickly pushed away by an idea that quickly took shape. Finally she had the opportunity she was waiting for. Dany quickly ran to the cabin the Aes Sedai shared with her warder. She knocked and after the reply she went in. Perfect! The warder was not here!!

"Aes Sedai, Aes Sedai, the Tower is now visible, and Tar Valon too!!" - Dany said in excitement. And she did not need to put on an act. The sight of the city and the Tower was indeed awe inspiring. - "Aes Sedai, I know you must've seen this a thousand times but, please, come with to the bow. The view is simply too good not to share!"

With a maternal smile, the Aes Sedai told Dany to lead the way. Dany almost leaped out of the cabin and ran to the bow. Well, she actually leaped, her excitment was genuine and was getting the better of her at the moment, though she was not sure was it because of the prank she was about to pull or because of the sight of Tar Valon and the chance to finally learn about Saidar.

"Oh Aes Sedai, look out," - she yelled as the woman neared the dangerous place - "That spot is slippery and ... "

Well it was too late. As usual, the woman did not pay much attention to her surroundings. She slipped and fell down, getting tar on her dress. Dany turned arround just in time to see the big man, her warder, comming to the fallen Aes Sedai's assistance. Dany also ran to help. Well true, her plan was to pretend to slip and push the Aes Sedai onto the warder, thus sticking them together, but still, for all it looked like she ran towards the woman to help.

Well, as it turned out, Dany did not had to pretend. She did indeed slip. Tumbling at full speed, she crashed into the Aes Sedai who had just gotten back to her feet, sending her and herself crashing in turn on top of the warder. The three of them tumbled together and when hey came to rest second later, the two women were piled upon the warder. Dany quickluy jumped back to her feet.

"I appologize, Aes Sedai" - she began. - " I did not mean to push you down again. I wanted to help but I guess I was too excited and slipped"

Dany offered her hand to the Aes Sedai to help her stand, but when she tried to pull out the woman back on her feet she found out that her little plan had worked. The Aes Sedai and her warder were now stuck to each other. And all of this with the ship now entering the dock! If it was possible, Dany would give herself a pat on the back. It took the now glued together pair a while they got back up, and as they slowly made their way into their cabin, the ship has made port and the landing board was in place. Quicky picking up her baggage, which was already on deack along with the baggage of the Aes Sedai and her warder - the crewmen had taken it out of their cabins for them, Dany disembraked the ship and looked around for the woman the Aes Sedai described to her. Finding her quickly, Dany curtsied

"Darienna Sedai, I am Daenerys Stronbow. I was found to be able to channel and was brought here to be trained."

The woman look at her than she spoke.

"Welcome to Tar Valon, child. Once we get to Tower your name will be written in the Book of Novices. However, where is the Aes Sedai who found you, and her warder?"

"Oh, they will be here as soon as possible, Darienna Sedai" - the woman turned her eyes to ship just in time to see how the glued pair entered one of the cabins. - "There was an incident on board the ship just as we made port."

  2.   Well, as far as the future Aiel moves go first the Aiel will have a little sightseeing visit to Shadar Logoth and then they will make a trip North to the Borderlands, not as conquerors but as helpers. And there are a few things more planned. But for now, the Aiel are based some distances outside of Cairhien and generally doing nothing.

  3.   ^ Korrena, Andreas's wolfkin, claims that she can behave. Though to my knowledge no one to this day has seen her behave. She is the troublemaker of the Wolfkin.

< Well the one story I have been following with the greatest interest lately is Silence of the Lambs, with Arie and Talon

v Are you a fan of Formula 1 races by any chance? ( ok so I could not think of a DM related question ... )

  4.   She pulled away. Even though she enjoyed it she pulled away. She seemed frightened and just a bit embarrassed. Public display of affection was not frowned upon in the Aiel culture though it was extreamly rare for such thing to happen. And it was in front of all these oathbreakers and before the Car'a'carn. The Maidens carry my honour, Jarron al'Tanin has said that when they were back in the Three Fold Land and Maidens did just that. Talbitha was not an exception.

The taste of her lips was still on his when she spoke.

"I can not give up the Spear for you, My.. Heart. Not when a beautiful dream is being burned by this Dance with the Car'a'Carn."

Regret was easy to detect in her voice, but it was not what made Ghaul smile. It was the simple two words - my and heart, even if pronounced with some struggle. It is never easy to admit heartfelt emotions, especially when the one you love has recently been married. Talbitha's words gave him wings though and Ghaul would do his best for Talbitha to have her wngs too. She has earned them.

Ghaul took a step closer but this time he did not embrace her. It took some willpower to do so, but he restrained himself.

"Then I will wait." - his voice was strong enough for her to hear even with all the noise the Aiel were still making. - " I will wait until the Dance is over, I will wait until the Car'a'carn mission is complete. I will wait for as long as I have to, My Heart."

She was his Heart indeed. With her, his Heart was complete.

"And since you are honest with be, I will be honest with you, My Heart. The waiting will not make me give up. I will not only reveal my feeling to you, I will also prove them, in any way I can. That I promise you, my Heart"

  5.   ^ Annais is on rather good relations with the leader of the Black Tower

< Fears? I do not know if Ghaul fears anything yet, Daemon's greatest fear is losing Arie and the twins. That fear is half realized. As for Dreams - way to many too list or sort. And I am feeling lazy.

v What do you do when the RP engine stalls?

  6. New Year was for me an alomst 24 hour party. The last time I was this physicly active was on the Kendo championship in November. The party was followed by a 2 hour Kendo practice session. To my shame though, I managed to endure only and hour and a half of that before falling asleep

  7.   Well I have a guess what might have caused it, and a good guess about how to fix it too, only that it is a bit too late for that now, so I will keep quiet.

      *snuggles*

You will be able to recover a good portion of it. You have often mention making back ups.

  8.   Actually, Skype uses about 3 or 4 % of you CPU time and about 40-50 MB of RAM. I would hardly call that intensive. Firefox for example is much more intensive than Skype. My guess is a failed PSU again. Those are the components that most often malfunction.

  9.   Via offered his sword to him after some hesitattion, and Daemon could understand him perfectly, after all, a warrior's weapons is his heart and soul, they are not to be handed around easily. And when you had someone else's weapon in your hands, they were certain rules to be followed.

Daemon took the hilt of the sword, resting the blade against on his sleeve. To touch the blade directly would be an insult to Via. It did not take Daemon long to finish his inspection of the blade. It was old, that was clear, and well used, there were a few dark spot near the hilt, most dried up blood and only one one tough to reach place - a small spec of rust. All in all, the blade was in a very good condition, and spoke well of the one who took care of it. Handing it back to Via, Daemon spoke.

"Well we're done here. Let's move on, shall we?"

      Daemon Ronshor

ooc: Well this is finally over, almost two months after it started. I will report this class and you're free to move on with Via's training, and free of me too.

  10.   "Once you saved my life, and humored my 'toh. A life for a life, Ghaul." She shook her head. "A life for a life, my debt to you repaid. You do not owe me anything."

It was the day when reality seemed to drift into the real of fairy tales. That was what some called it. And they were not far off. Talbitha and Ghaul were among those that went to the water supply only to see it turn to blood before their eyes. And then those creatures came out - human in shape, they looked like they were made of blood. Their touch was like acid, burning fabric, wood, metal and flesh alike and their touch was poison too. They fought there, back to back, each looking out for the other. When Talbs' leg was grabbed by one such creature, Ghaul send it back from where it came from, though Talbitha was poisoned by it's touch. Ghaul carried her to the Hold, and visited her until she recovered from the fever the poison caused. It was when she recovered that she claimed she had toh towards him, one that he declared met when she helped him take care of an old wound that had reopened that moment. For Talbitha though, the Toh was not met, not until today. And having said that she turned and walked away.

For a moment Ghaul just stood there, as if he had suddenly been turned to stone. Then suddenly he smiled. The white hair of Talbs was like a signal fire, telling him where was, even though her cadin'dor masked her well. He had finally realized it, after having seen it in her eyes. Not only what she has left unspoken, in her eyes he saw reflected what he had left unspoken as well.

Though the ranks of the Aiel were tightly packed, Talbitha made her way through them quite fast. However, Ghaul was even faster. The Aiel made way for the clan chief as he hurried after the young maiden with the white hair. He caught up her while they were still in the throne room. Ghaul could feel the eyes of the Aiel upon him, and he was ready to bet that the treekillers were always quite currious to see what was going on but their small statures did not allow them to see anything. Putting a hand on Talbitha's shoulder Ghaul turned her around so she'll be facing him. Yes, it was all there - in her eyes.

"Talbitha" - he began, his voice quiet enough not to be heard too far. - "Both you and I, have left things unsaid."

His arms wrapped around her waist and he pulled her close to him. Talbitha's eyes widened as the clan chief did not stop there.

"I do believe though, that this will say them all."

Just as sudden as he embraced her, Ghaul leaned in and their lips met. Talbitha's eyes widened even more at first, but then she closed her eyes, enjoying the moment. Ghaul closed his eyes too, sayign everything he wanted to say with that kiss. And the kiss said I love you Talbitha, Shade of my Heart.

It took him a while to notice the riot that the Aiel made upon seeing this.
