  1. “How do you deal with a Wise One with sore teeth? The Wise One Alisis almost bit my head off earlier like she had missed out on lunch or something.â€

Cor's question caused Ghaul to errupt in laughter/.before he could answer Ramza replied.

"Well you could ask her is she needed help with the apprentice mabey walk in on a sweat tent and show yourself off. Who knows it might work... But the best bet is to just steer clear of her"

Ghaul could not help it but to continue to laugh. He quickly settled and prepared his reply.

"What Ramza suggested is very wise.It is very smart to steer clear of the Wise Ones. However I do not have the luxury of that option.Plus the Wise Ones are not as bad as they initially appear."

That won him a look by the two young warrior, and a smile from Krachend.

"Well to answer your question - when talking with Wise Ones, with sore tooth or not,a few things matter. One is to never lose your composure.Second - to keep an open mind about what she says.Third - to keep your ground.Be calm,be confident, and the conversation will go smoothly. That's what my expirience of dealing with the Wise Ones has taught me."

By the look on their faces Ghaul could tell that the warriors were thinking of trying this next time they have to deal with a Wise Ones. While they were thinking Ghaul wondered how long will it be until the Maiden's send someone to ask Cor for a game,a game which was by now their official welcome procedure. After all, they have been watching Cor for quite a while now.Ghaul could not help it but to smile.

"Cor,it seems that your arrival has caught the eyes of the Maidens too.It will be soon that they will send someone to ask you for a special welcome. And I think I know just who will they send." - Ghaul smiled again as he got an idea.He looked at the three warriors before him. - "Tell me,have you ever played a game of reversed Maiden's Kisses?"

  2. I am not amazed that you remember me Ben,after all you've been arround even longer than me!! I will be thrilled to be back!!

Now about the OP score.Last I remember it was 27 for strenght and 21 for skill(I could be wrong though). But it is from the time when still one point of your strenght score bought you one point in elemental score.I think they broke down between the elements like this

    Fire and Earth - 7

    Air and Spirit - 6

    Water - 1

Does this match your records Dali?Oh and where can I find information on the latest OP score rules?

  3. First of all hello,it has been quite a while since I posted anything in any relation to the Black Tower. Now back to the point.

Some of you might know me as Ghaul or Daemon, but I bet that not many of you remember that I had an Asha'man named Davram.Well I am making plans of taking all my chars off the shelf and into actuall RP again and Davram has been shelfed for a looooooong time! But since I was away for such a long time - can I come back at all?I mean will I be allowed to keep Davram's rank or is it not possible and I need to start over again?

  4. I see you Serena,I am Ghaul the Clan Chief - welcome to the Three Fold Land! *gives you a skin of welcome oosqaui*

As for what character you should make - well if you decide to go with a warrior you will not have a choise but to become a Maiden. It is the the division policy to follow the books on female warriors. And right now we have a shortage of Maidens.I am sure Alissa will be here shortly to welcome you and explain how the situation is in the Wise One camp

  5. Alissa was right. He had his duty not only towards the Aiel but towards the Car'a'carn.A duty he knew well.

"They come during all times" - he began. There was not a need to specify who was them,it was clear. - "During the day, druing the night.Even when he has retired to his quatters to sleep.Though every oathbraker who tried to disturb the Car'a'carn at that time earns himself,or herself for that matter,a fitting 'reward'."

A small smile appeared on Alissa's lips.Obviously she knew of the methods the Aiel used to make sure no one disturbed the Car'a'carn, and approved of them.

"You are right Alissa." - that one made her look at him funny,it was not everyday that Ghaul agreed with Alissa this easily. - " You are right to be upset with me for going into a battle.Though I think that you do not have anything to worry about."

    Alissa look quickly grew colder.

"Yes,it is vital that the Car'a'carn understands that we a rock he can lean on.He know that we are his people.Ever since Al'cair'dal where he revealed our history for all Aiel to hear.He and I have talked about this many times, and about the wetlander prophecies. To the wetlanders he is the Dragon Reborn, destined to fight the Sightblinder. To us he is the man who would unite is into one nation.Though in those prophecies - there is a mention of a group called the People of the Dragon. And us,the Aiel, are those people.Wetlander nobles have to wait for days to get a chance to see or talk with the Car'a'carn. But every Chief,Wise One,Society Leader,Second or warrior, practicly every Aiel can talk to the Car'a'carn when they have to.He trusts us more than anyone, even more than the Asha'man!"

Ghaul stopped to sweap the sweat off his torso.

"Rest assured Alissa, the Car'a'carn and I have talked about this.In case I am to awake from the dream, you are to take my place along side him."

  6. Alissa's words sounded harsh, but she was never gentle to him.Even when she had to be his Gai'shan for a day as part of her penance for almost killing him while caught in his dream during her training.Plus she had reasons to be hard with him this time. And a very good reason indeed.

Ghaul took a staera and held it in his hand for a while concentrated on it.Alissa kept silent awaiting his response.

"The Car'a'carn was safe, surrounded by hundreds of Maidens and many more spears. There is not a military force strong enough,be it humans or Shadowbred, that could have broken through the defences arround the Car'a'carn. Not unless they used the One Power. Then all the spears would be rather pointless."

Ghaul began wiping the sweat off his arm.Alissa was right though. He charged into the heat of battle leading the assault up the walls himself. The small cut on his thigh was his fault,he should have known better then jumping straight into a guard house.Though still there was a very good reason he joined the dance.

"As for why I rushed into the dance" - Ghaul made a pause to shake the sweat of the staera. - "The wetlanders have the habbit of building walls and gates arround their cities.Fortresses they call them.Obviously they try to compensate what they lack as warriors by errecting these fortifications.Still though manned by wetlanders these fortifications can claim the lives of many warriors."

He shifted hands and proceeded to wipe the sweat off his other arm.

"Aiel have little expirience in .. siege warfare Alissa" - he made a pause to recall the foreign word. - "So in such situation we needed every warrior with expirience of a siege.I just happened to be such a warrior.Plus it is the Clan Chief's role to survey, command and direct, but it is also the Clan Chiefs duty to lead, you know that as well as I do Alissa"

  7. Seems I already have a volunteered.Ok then Ramza - first test.

    *brings out a sorda rat*

This is the special oosquai destriction initiation sorda rat.

*points out to a pile of oosquai skin*

And that is the initiation. You need to drink more skins than the rat and then outrun it in a sprint race.So whenever you're ready Ramza - start drinking!

*eyes Talbs after hearing her evil laughter* And just what do you have planned for once he falls asleep young maiden?

  8. They were here for quite a while now,but Ghaul still has a hard time believing that so much water can be found in one place. The main Aiel camp was on a hill overlooking the city and they had an excellent view to the river.Standing on the edge of camp Ghaul's gaze was pointed towards the city of the treekillers and the river on which banks it was build. The city was recently capture by the Aiel, and the Car'a'carn now resided in the bulding that the treekillers called trhge Sun Palace. In that was not a decision that Ghaul approvedmbut then again it was not his to make.Of course he has made sure that they were plenty of spears in the city to guard the Car'a'carn.Aiel patroled everywhere - from the gardens of the Sun Palace to the slums at the banks of the river.River ... such a starnge word for someone who has grown in a land where water was more precious than gold, for someone who has fought over, and seen men and women die for small ponds.

Ghaul shook his head and headed towards the sweat tent.He needed to relax. As he headed towards the tent he removed his clothing, leaving them by the tent as he entered.Sitting down comfortably,he threw some water on the heated rocks and relaxed in the clouds of steam.Soon small dripples of sweat covered the Clan Chief's body.

It was at this moment that his solitude was broken.Alissa, the head wise one, entered the tend and sat opposite of him.

" I see you Alissa" - the clan chief said as he looked over the small wound on his thigh.A small cut from when they took the city.It was healing fine and it would not even leave a scar.Looking at the Wise One again he could see that she had something on her mind.

"Judging by the look on your face head Wise One,you have something you want to talk about. And since we both are here I suggest we use the opportunity and speak our mind."

    Ghaul

    clan chief

  9. *the Clan Chief comes into the shade from the blistering sun and burning sands*

I see you Wise One and warriors.May you always find water and shade. And I see that you have already found shade and something better than water. So Myth - pass some of those skins my way and let a real master at the sacred art of oosquai destruction show you how it's done.

*raises the skin and slowly gobbles it down*

Ahh ... quite refreshing! And I am now recruting warriors to teach them the Sacred Art of Oosquai Destruction

  10. Unfortunatly Arie,I do not think that Talb can be a Hama N'dore. There was a discussion about which societies women warriors can be part of.And we decided to stick with the books and have women warriors be Maidens by default. And since Bruyere is on leave,we'll find someone to take on your training
