Baerlon whitecloaks and four kings lightning

when rand and mat ran in to the whitecloaks for the first time in Baerlon and mat got them all muddy, then rand confronted them he he said he felt so alive and full of enerrgy he could have burst...was this a wielding of the power???

 

 

also was that lighning strike in four kings luck or rand using the source?

the lighting strike was, he became sick soon after with the after effects, not sure about the whitecloaks

thanks for the replies that question was really naggin me in the back of my head. and yeah i figured the lightning strike was seein as rand became ill with fever and chills shortly after

Don't forget, Rand used the source on Bela during their first run from Emonds field as well.

Nope. Moiraine was going to Heal Bela, but didn't because she didn't need to. That was when Moiraine first began to suspect that Rand was who he was; because Rand had already Healed her.

Rand healed Bela of her tiredness out of fear that she would fall behind and Egwene would be left to the Myrrdraal.

 

Effect = The giddiness/overconfidence with the whitecloakds.

 

Rand sweeps the beam over on Domon's boat, killing the trolloc that was about to kill him.

 

Effect = Rand climbs the mast and acts like an accrobat. giddiness/overconfidence.

 

Rand uses lightning in the Four Kings.

 

Effect = Rand suffers chills and shakes.

 

Rand defeats Aginor/Ishamael

 

Effect = Forgetfulness, dazedness on coming back to the Eye of the World.

 

Each event happened closer and closer to the time of touching the source until the eye where they were virtually simultaneous. After that Rand seemingly gained control of the source, since he didn't die.
