Well Seph for sure. I think the posting drop off coincides with town being off base today. I think scum is hoping town does the deed for them.

I can read myself town for AtE and read Hallia wolf for AtE and justify this rather easily.

Calder's the best I've got to go on right now. I wouldn't be shocked if he flipped town, seeing as most of the people whose reads I have faith in (basically you and Lainey) have him as null, but no one seems to have him as a strong town. So that's the best I've got.

I mean you likely know Penneh's game the best and have the most experience with her, and could just be right about her.

Because it is in fact objectively true.

 

Different people play different and sometimes they even use AtE different. Context and nuance are key.

So, I'm not going to look for quotes for the past 30 pages, but i can give you an impression on what i think might be the alignment of the players present in the game.

 

Clovdyx would be top mayor. Like his gameplay so far. Puts in work, asks questions, responds too. 

Darthe is ok from what I've seen. Mainly gut feeling here, but I'm gonna go with it. 

Lizabeth seems alright for now. 

alannalynn can help town lots, so no lynching her today. Willing to see how she puts things together from D2 on. 

seph seems motivated town. Seems... dunno... there's a hint of doubt on the back of my mind. 

Hallia not here a lot, but that's ok. She needs her vacation *nods*

Calder is a hard one to crack. I can never get a clear read on that one until after his flip... then i go like "Oooohhh, so that's what it was about." will need some more time here.

Celeste is the oddest  read during the catching up. Didn't get a townie vibe here (yet?), and at this point, doubting she's town. 

 

And then there's these two: Zander & Sili Quirrels. Guys, with the amounts you both are posting, i have a hard time making sense of you. the thing going on between both of you (around page 15 or so) was hella confusing and didn't help me get a read on either of you at all. I'll need more time on both of you. 

 

I have too many nulls to my liking. But, I'm not able to really clear or accuse the majority of players here. I'll need more time, and prolly a couple of rereads, to be able to figure things out. Kinda frustrating 

 

I like your order, except I'm a little confused as to how Zander and Sili are the two you're having a hard time making sense of, based on the amount of they've posted.  I would think with the amount they've both posted, you'd be able to find something that sticks out as town- or mafia-telling to you.  Were you fully caught up at this point Thane?

 

You know Sili, AtE probably isnt something you in particular should push lynches for.

Btw, and this is to all of you, where did this idea come from that "you sussed x in y game and they were town so I am questioning if you can read the person now"?

I really dont get it. I said Seph was nervous and over answering early in the day phase and I feel like the only way assuage that concern is to maintain that level to show that is just his high effort approach to the game. Instead a significant drop off.

I had Darthe as a probable - not definite - townie the last time I was in the thread.  He would have been below you and Liz but above most of the other players by a reasonable margin.  Of course, he didn't really post much yesterday, so I'm not sure what you're talking about with him pushing you.  I'll finish catching up on what I missed and will let you know what I think.

No I have her as town. Said so a few pages back. But that is the issue I have with her. She finds me disconcerting and thinks that is enough to lynch. Her arguments against me apply to half the game, which is how you can see they were backed in to.

Hallia, believe me when I say I'm not trying to be a dick about this and that I love you - but Sili's point about your contributions this game isn't wrong.  I think he's gone about handling it the wrong way, but the bolded statement is a pretty fair take IMO.  I understand why you've been inactive.  If somebody says they think you're lying about being on vacation to give yourself an excuse to lurk, I'll probably rip their teeth out and make a pretty necklace out of it...but you being on vacation doesn't prevent you from randing mafia.

 

That's the point I was trying to make to Zander earlier.  So if you are town this game, again, give us something.  I've had a hard time reading you in the past based on content and rely more heavily on meta with you.  And it's proven pretty damn effective  - I don't think you'd disagree with me there.  Right now, that meta kinda suggests mafia.
