Honestly the game is over for town. So if we have to lynch Celeste for piece of mind, in that she has no reason to survive, then fine. I just have not thought she was scum this game.

Although Laine was dead no matter what. Town in any game for all time has to kill the person that killed the doctor the previous night when there was no other kill. So putting in effort and waiting to lynch doesnt mean much when its a guarantee.

 

 

Yeah.  I really, really wish that Liz had done a better job of tipping the protection.  Assuming she didn't self protect and get double-tapped (you guys don't want to know how I phrased that in my head), my ego still makes me think it was me.  But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little biased about it.

he is playing different than last game that is for sure, but it's just a wim difference.

That seems almost as bad as lynching Zander.  I get the ties between them - I said the same thing myself.  But if we're putting all of our hopes on hitting mafia, I feel a hell of a lot more comfortable going with her first.  In the highly unlikely event Calder is mafia and is white knighting her through TMI, we're still going to lose if we go Calder -> Celeste.

in particular what i do not like right now is that before the mks calder was all, celeste is definitely town guys, def not a derpwolf, and then after the mks he gives up on everything. he doesn't even say let's not lynch celeste on the off chance we can win. nope - doesn't say anything about how celeste is about to be lynched at mylo, and how she is indeed town.

I thought he was pretty pure when pushing Alanna.  Sure, she was town, but a Town!IR isn't going to know that, and it's not like he misrepped the hell out of everything.

 

Beyond that, "today" isn't the only thing that matters.  I don't think there's an argument in the world for her being MORE townie this game, so if you're going to go all-in on them being teammates, why wouldn't you start with her?

I cant remember the last time I was actually frustrated in a mafia game. I have been on mafia teams that teammates have punted. But, Vig kills literally the most trustworthy townie and then in an argument her and the 2nd most trustworthy townie are dead. Seriously this should go down as worst collective town performance ever. I guess throw in Seph changing how he responded post by post to throw us through a loop.

My vote is never going on Celeste. I may be wrong and that worries me more than yesterday. But, I am not going to pretend my enthusiasm is the same when the game is now essentially over.

This isn't even remotely true.  Even if it were, how are you making your decisions about who fits?  Before, you said Darthe and I were likely.  Now it's Calder and I.  How do people go from your strongest town/mafia reads to your most likely 3P candidate without doing anything?
