This is for Lenlo's post 3295:

Pralaya hasn't reacted at all to my vote on him, or explained anything addressed at him today.

I voted him because he is in my POE, but primarily because I don't understand his WTL of Laine, Celeste, and Cass. Cass, I understand more, because of his reading into the Zander/Cass situation (covered above), but I do question how he scum read her from the beginning.

My reasoning is that Pralaya and Cass cannot be wolves together, and that once one slot resolves the other should as well.

I would also like to see more from Nolder before lynching him. He has posted more than Pralaya, but after the Pizza tunnel day 1, and his gun to the head thing about Pralaya without much reasoning, I'm wary about his slot. I find the Nolder/Cass interactions also interesting. Nolder telling Cass that she's a wolf, and Cass town reading Nolder.

Not touching you, Laine, Celeste, Pizza, Shad.

Kaylee would be next after Nolder, mainly because of POE and Csarmi/her tinfoil. She, Nolder, Pralaya, Cass are my WTL, reverse order.

Okay, to be clear, here it is: Pralaya>Nolder>Kaylee>Cass

Cass is my deep wolf. Zander/Cass interactions, the drop off in activity, and reasons mentioned before. Again, if Pralaya is scum, Cass shouldn't be. Vice versa as well.

I'm still pretty convinced Celeste is town, but she definitely needs to step it up, because I know many people want to lynch her.

God I suck at this game if its been 4 years and im still this bad.

It's a guessing game. It's better to be lucky than experienced or have good fundamentals. Unfortunately that's the one aspect of the game we can't control.

Who can I buy these "Good Fundamentals" from?

Also im going to be crashing soon tonight, so ask whatever you want now. Tomorrow I try to read D2.

Gun to head I'm going to say Pral is town.

I wish there was more content to work with but sometimes gotta make tough call.

Ok who's next?

Shad how about you. Ok let's go.

Ok.

Talk to me.  What are your concerns?

Let's start here and hopefully I'll have more for you tomorrow night.

#15/16 - Weird to mention all the players you do and don't have meta on right at the start. Like you're setting up excuses for mislynches on townies maybe. (-1)

#617 - Gives reads list. Weird that he has Csarmi at the top. Says he explained it but may have missed the explanation. (0)

#799 - Basing his read on Celeste off how Wish acts. This doesn't bother me later in the game when connections are being made but it seems very early to me to draw these kinds of conclusions. (-0.5)

These are your old notes iirc.  Have you advanced on any of these thoughts so far?

Blue -- I named you, Lenlo, Laine, Zander as the people I think I can read well.  What has my approach to these four people done to strengthen or lessen your concern?

Green -- It was definitely a bad reason, as things panned out, but I explained it again later.  I don't know if I explicitly stated "this was my original reason" or if I just reiterated the reason, but did anything about my treatment of csarmi towards the end of D1 ping you?

Red -- I am still basing a lot of my Celeste read on the same principle.  What are your thoughts on Wish/Celeste interaction?

No. I cancelled my note taking at the start of the day. It was taking up too much of my time.

1) You're not addressing my concern you're just stating a fact and then asking me a question. Deflection?

2) Towards the end? Not that I recall. I was more focused on Nomi than you though.

3) This doesn't address my concern with you basing your read on Celeste off Wish so early in the game. I've already stated I think it's weird how Wish and Celeste link themselves every game but I guess that's their thing. Don't think it's alignment indicative.

While I am down on myself at the moment, I've been there enough times to tell you this-

Every game, someone teaches me something.

When I'm scum, the village teaches me what NOT to do while I'm scum. Or, what to do while I'm scum.

The villagers I observe teach me how to be a better villager when I am one.

When I'm a villager, I observe the scums, and find out how scums survive, and then I improve that way.

I watch my own teammates. And when I make a mistake, I learn an exception to my behavior that I should keep in mind.

Like, you know World's End where I pulled off of you? You know what that was? That was a dozen mistakes I've made as town in previous games, corrected.

Every time you learn something new, you are getting better at the game, and that is far more important to a long term mafia player than an immediate win.

I've got hundreds of mistakes and countless losses behind me.

I have twice as much experience as you and it doesn't make me flawless. I have some really bad town games and bad scum games to this day.

How we respond to those negatives is up to us. They can become positives.

If I actually deserved to go to that championship thing (which tbf no I did not, my home forum was dead at the time and I was maybe one of two people Thingy asked)

I got there because I accepted every player, good and bad, lucky or not, over the years, as a mentor.

The ones who had bad games taught me things.

The ones who had good games taught me things.

The most valuable thing I possess is not my IQ or whatever. It's the attitude that everyone has something to teach me.

That is what has made my game better over the years.

It was some trial and error on my part, but 90 percent of it was borrowed or inspired by other players.

And that goes for more than just mafia. I lack innate social awareness, if I've gotten better over the years it's because I watch how others interact with each other successfully and unsuccessfully. As a result, I'm an excellent mediator, moderator, and advice-giver on relationships. But my own personal experiences have been less successful because I learned mostly by watching others, rather than doing it myself well.

My own attempts resulted in a lot of failures and giving up on it entirely. So my learning curve on social stuff was stunted compared to understanding it vicariously. I get how other people do it. Doing it myself was challenging.

Everyone has something to teach, is a core philosophy in my life. Everyone is better or worse than you at everything, and both lessons are equally valuable.

Pralaya, I have reasons not to lynch almost everyone in the game except you.

I'm leaning that way for today, so consider this a vote. I don't want an early hammer, is the only reason it's not red.

Well, that's not true.

I got some good feels from some of your posts, and I didn't like the way your wagon formed day one, but I forget if anyone on that wagon is even a suspect atm, so it could be worse than null, it might actually be points against you at this point. Let me see.

You have dark brown hair and you're pale.

I think I've seen a pic of you before. I've seen a pic of Cory before and seen him on video call.

You look alike

Right????

Was it in your signature? Something about Hastur. I'm not crazy, am I?

Ill have to find it someday, cause I dont remember it. Though Hastur will forever be remembered as my second favorite scum play ever.
