why, we're doing all the solving right now. I'm pretty sure I've ruled out a few possibilities of setup that were floating in your head

Yeah, I don't know about how much solving we're doing. Confirming certain universes don't exist don't really help me solve the universe I'm in right now.

But I do appreciate the heads-up regardless.

yeah it should, it gives you a baseline of what you should look for

No one does man. If you agree to play, you should devote some time to this game.

I think most everyone has come around. Yea it isn't 4-5 posts per day maybe.

But it is at least content. I just think it isn't something to quit over.

I'm moving to a modding position to drive away the habit of inactivity by enforcing an inactivity rule

Speaking from experience as a moderator and game host, the rule won't cause inactivity to go away. Only finding active players and encouraging them to play resolves that.

No penalty or bonus on these forums will persuade folks to come play the game if they don't want to, or literally cannot.

Best advice I can give here- simply suggest that if folks go inactive without explanation more than once, they aren't welcome on sign up sheets you create, until an apology is offered or an explanation is.

Then reconsider, but it's always a parlor game between friends, it's never so serious as to warrant much further.

A guy I knew, Lord Winter, was thrown out of 10 games for inactivity. He wasn't a bad player, he just signed up to every game and over many years, couldn't always be here.

It ruined a lot of games, but when he was active, he was great.

It's easy to condemn, it's harder to understand and forgive. But we can still protect ourselves.

Balance the game as follows:

If including someone who may be a problem, rand them vanilla villager, or lone wolf not connected to his team, so his alignment is ambiguous, and the game is balanced whether or not he shows up.

until his activity is more predictable.

Or don't allow the signup, imo.

Seem like fair responses?

I've had some great projects destroyed by inactivity. But, as much as it hurts, you can't blame the inactive party too much.

This is a hobby for no points and no medals, and it's such a low priority in life. Real life happens.

Enjoy the precious moments you can get, don't suffer too greatly from missed opportunities for great moments. It's just part of mafia. You win some, you lose some, you win some due to inactivity which sucks, you lose some due to inactivity which sucks.

What matters is the friendships you make, and the jokes you tell along the way. And the spectacle.

People talk down to me, say things that piss me off but when it comes down to it. It is just a game.

I honestly feel that's a much bigger problem in games than inactivity.

Be nicer to each other, and always separate attacks on a person's motivations and alignment from their intellect, experience, or real personality.

The latter should never happen, imo.

This is were I am at currently for mafia teams.

Hallia

Tina

Sooh

Ah

I am fully trusting of pizza atm.

But he could be a deep wolf replacing someone on this team if he was lying about joat. Just a tinfoil

Possibly wk

Cass

Tayla

Possible ep/verb

This is why I reluctant to vote you ep. Look at my list and who is on you currently on your wagon . I simply don't trust it. And I feel like I am more likely to find a wolf in sooh.

I feel like pizza is the town leader and people thought they think they can follow him without repercussions.

I only have a few minutes left before bed. And won't make it to d.

[v] sooh [/v]

Like, I care about the outcome of the game, to a large extent because I'm invested in it and I am gripped by the setting and the people playing.

But I'd vote for myself if I thought people weren't having fun or if I had to win based on anything of the sort of things I object to.

It's why I don't lurk even as scum- I don't want to win by pretending to not play. I want to play!

Wait, Seph! Don't leave!

Did you put Verb on your list of scums?

He's a dead villager! Please correct

it's okay Seph is mafia don't put to much of an investment into that.

I think that puts Sooh at we're completely screwed if she's a villager.

she's not and we aren't It puts Tina's team in an even bigger predicament if they don't shoot their opposing mafia team.

If you're correct, then you're clutch in bad situations as a villager. I don't agree with your methods. I don't agree with this lynch order.

But I can't stop it and if it's correct, I don't want to.

if my numbers are correct it puts her at 6/8 but I guarantee you hit mafia here.

I agree with this

You're so wrong EP. I am a villager.

I can guarantee you that you won't hit mafia here.

I have NO abilities, and therefore no way of proving my innocense.
