Also, another reason I want to kill dice is because he wants me dead in every post, yet he claims to be working for town.

 

That just doesn't fly in my opinion. If he was actually going to keep to his word, he'd care more than this.

I'm pretty against your reasoning for wanting to keep him alive tbh.  Dice claimed the main villain of the series when he thought he had been cop viewed and in that scenario a survivor claim is a safe response (seems to have worked so far).

 

My thoughts on it are this:

 

If mafia has safe claims I'd assume Dice would have as well.  By claiming 3p he could circumvent the day/game becoming about him vs what he thought was a cop.

If we eliminate non-town we don't accidentally eliminate town meaning that this gets us closer to winning.

Maintaining that extra space equates to losing a townie.  While that sounds negative it can help us by clearing up some of the confusion in the game.  

There is little consensus on who to lynch and the odds of hitting mafia are... not great still.

One of the biggest benefits Mrs. Clov is that it can't hurt.  So many options can directly harm us but this one just can't and it allows for more opportunities to solve the game.  Why would we want to hasten our potential loss?  

 

Extra time, extra power use, extra control over the game, those are all very tangible and obvious benefits of moving in this direction.

I think we should focus on who could actually be the scum team while we have time.  If it's down to the wires at the end of phase, sure maybe Dice is the best play there, but right now it doesn't make sense for us to all jump on and lynch dice when we still have a lot of time in the phase left.

He is referring to being down 1 townie compared to now.  However, that's a bad argument because:

 

Assuming 3 mafia and 9 alive (with 1 survivor) it takes 5 to lynch and there are 5 townies.  We already require all town united to achieve a lynch and should we be wrong today then going into tomorrow we cannot win without Dice's help.  

 

If we lynch dice and mafia has a successful NK we enter tomorrow with 3 mafia, 7 alive with 4 town.  Same scenario but without reliance on  third party.
