I just think it's interesting that so far everyone's claimed presumably good characters.

Take claims out of it - because you pretty much have to at this point - which two players have PLAYED the scummiest, in your opinion?

 

Recently? Sili and Eldrick.

A lot of it is that you keep  having to resay what you mean. It strikes me as your concerned about how you come across, and I have this gut feeling that you've been the one pushing for the claims, or trying to draw the roles out. I had you as town early in the game, but now the things you are doing just rub me the wrong way. It's starting to feel forced.

You can make 1 or 2 of them safe claims though

If the characters like arthur or merlin didnt exist i wld be very sad.

Sometimes u say something u feel u can express it better. Other times different ppl ask u the same wuestion repeatadly. It doesnt mean its forced. It means some ppl dont want to hear the truth.

 

I was the one who wanted clov and darthe to stop playing mind games withe the thread. I didnt force them to claim though.

Don't accept them.  Sili isn't much more regular here than you are, Clov isn't really used to DM style and Yates bucks trends.

You're right. Weird that I had that impression, right? You somehow kept yourself off my wagon [despite constantly saying I'm scum recently]. It's almost as if you knew I'd flip Town and wanted no part of that.

You also kept yourself off the Leelou wagon when she was online and willing to prove her role. And the way you did that dance was - illogical. I didn't see a lot of good reasoning in there. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to prove a Townie in thread. This is especially true given that you had the scenario you were looking for where your top 2 scum suspects [me and Thane] were confirmed offline.

Edrick made that horrible thread about mafia qts while he was playing this game. Thane is probably town, but I don't know why he would defend me so hard from dice. Before that point it looked like he'd had a pretty neutral read of me.

You threw mud on Dice - for spurious reasons - to put him in your POE pool. He since full claimed Survivor with really no pressure. And all of a sudden you are driving the conversation on Day 3 and suggesting that lynching the Survivor, in potential MYLO, is the BEST play we have to achieve victory?

 

You slung mud on Barm to give yourself an excuse to vote him. Again, it wasn't for any specific reason. Sure enough, he flipped Town.

I should also probably take this opportunity to point out that the name claim nonsense you are talking about now is pretty bush league. That's the kind of stuff you try to sell to noobs. Anyone with extensive game or marginal mod experience knows how games are setup so they aren't broken by mass claims.

I just find it really weird most of the game has me as town but Thane Yates Dice and Eldrick don't get it. But I guess that's how bad their engagement in the game.

 

If they're town they're doing a terrible job at convincing me, that's for sure. But maybe all they need to do is convince the other villagers. And with the number of posts I have I'm sure they can spin narratives till I'm in my grave if I don't claim.

 

So, I'll claim, because it isn't wise to not to.

Pretty much everyone did something like stay out of the way. That's how your wagon was built. Thankfully I said later I wasn't completely fine with your wagon and moved to pressure Eldrick and Dice instead.

Pretty sure it's lylo, in the sense dice votes with mafia if we mislynch.

 

But that aside, town doesn't need a survivor. A survivor mostly helps scum, I believe. And UI say it is the SAFEST play,  but if you want to interpret that as 'best' sure. I think we should lynch a survivor if we don't have a basically outted scum by the end of the day since town only gains a day and a night for more content.

1. I stopped bringing the out of game excuse up because it seemed like angle shooting on both ends. On his part, maybe he was trying to spew himself town. On my part, I was a little unsettled he'd get away with it. He hasn't been modkilled so if I have the sequence right I'm assuming it means he's scum, but that isn't apart of the game or my logic and I've left it out because I could very easily be wrong here.

I've been about as involved as you can get without declaring he/she is 100% certified scum all the time and we should lynch them purely because I say so.

 

Angle-shooting is bad play? It might be questionable ethics, which is why I didn't follow-it-up, but it isn't bad play.
