Behind you is thane in scumminess, but considering yates put thane down in his scum poe multiple times and insinuated thane could also mimic the tone and content here very easily, it seems to me you're our best bet by a long mile. (Yates gaveth and tooketh away from thane in equal portions.)

 

bfg is probably spewed clear in her interactions with yates, and I am too for anyone who wants to check. As an aside, so is tress, so don't let that Lylo!tinfoil get to you if she survives the night.

I mean you never say why Yates sounds genuine, so you've left room to adjust your stance on the spew if you need it. Worse, you set me up as your top town lean while marginalizing my reads and Yates' spew. It appears to me you might be casting doubt without putting down a strong stance. I'm generalizing here, but if I had to compose a case on you I would start with this, relate it to your nudges on me day 1, and find out if you did it to other people as well.

Yates and i get along pretty well (beerclub!), and i think he really was trying to pocket me this game, seeing he usually reads me well, to gain my trust and get me off his back. Too bad for him i was more confident in Tress being town than him.

I mean, you've obviously LOOKED at what I've written.  Or you wouldn't have been able to respond to me (not actually) calling you out for not posting like you did.  You would have had no idea I said quoted him there.  Being early and not being fully immersed very understandably could cause some confusion, resulting in you thinking it was my words and not his.

 

What I don't understand how you missed the multiple quotes from Yates to BFG that I copied.  They don't give the entire picture, of course, because I don't have time to paste literally every single post he made this game....but I dunno man, you should have at least seen that he handled you two very differently in that large one.

 

 

@Thane - Am I wrong about what I just said? I feel like you don't typically accept PR hints on your scum suspects at face value. PR claims? Maybe a different story... What made you bail on JMM? Also, is there something preventing you from posting as often as you typically do? This is a small game so your thoughts and opinions are really super important to share. Like, more important than in the larger games that you were much more active in. I miss you.

These are two very different approaches for a relatively similar problem.  Him being pretty friendly and trying to help you out goes along just fine with you two being buddies.  So um, did BFG kick his dog or something?

Cass is trying hard to solve the game and puts in a lot of work. I've played with her in another game, and she was exactly like that. She's town to me. I don't think she'd be that good a wolf (sorry Cass) to stand under pressure in a small game like this. If she'd change, we'd notice.

 

Sili looks a lot better after Yates flip. He was on my list too, but looking back at the interactions between those two, i doubt that's w/w. So, he's town for me too.

Lists are meant to frame arguments - not substitute for them. Put another way the list is illdefined in scope and evidence since it takes into consideration only half of Yates spew, conducts its analysis poorly, and says very little and achieves close to nothing. If we define content as the material that informs and impacts the thread then your list is insubstantial. I don't have confidence it won't change on the slightest whim going forward.
