Alanna if it makes you feel better I think Tom would hard clear Monstr in this situation regardless if he were a wolf or not.

Which makes it a null tell then. I'm coming to the conclusion that we should all just stop talking about their alliance and move on :D

For Tom, yeah. My point is that Monstr is displaying himself to such a strong extent that even if Tom or one of the others were a wolf they'd be better off town reading him at this stage of the game.

Hey AJ, can you link me to a recent scum game of yours on DM? Preferably one you feel you performed well in.

I feel like my biggest blind spot is lack of knowledge of your wolf game and I would like to check it out.

DBZ was probably one of my better ones tbh.

I'm still phone posting so linking might be a pain in the arse but if you feel like searching a little you could check out Clash of Ancients or the Godzilla game for ~recent examples.

Nah, it's just something I've been worried about and since I'm not a wolf this time I thought I'd ask.

I'm probably just gonna go to bed soon though. Link me later if you can.

Normally I would say to myself "this is Villager Tom trying to discern my alignment"

But now I have to say "this is Villager Tom trying to discern my alignment. Or this is Wolf Tom trying to look like he's discerning my alignment"

Is problem.

@Cory - I'm gonna provide you with quotes #'s instead of pulling the actual posts because getting them up on my phone is a hassle.

I think Dice's #730 and #732 are both outside of his wolf range imo. I haven't seen him wolf in a while since he's started playing with more confidence but the openness and how he's able to provide detail to his reads are very good signs.

Also in #362 where he votes me (I talked about this earlier) and the quote at the bottom telling Tom he'd have a couple of "Tom wolf skin rugs" if people listened to him more ring very villagery to me.

Arsis might have trouble empathizing but he's not totally daft. He knows he's made himself into a target and in spurring it on he either believes his case (confirmation bias), or he wants to be absolved by looking too scummy. Right now I expect him to push the next viable wagon, which is Berf (or whoever) regardless of alignment, but he would have set this up long before hand if he was in a wolf mindset.

The mechanically correct way to play this out is have night actions resolve arsis' slot, and actually lynch someone who has a chance of being a strong wolf. If Arsis is scum, he's weak scum.

I already commented on Berf. Dude has one post. I'm not going after someone with one post of day 1. I don't like people who are inactive and I don't mind a mod kill. His lynch gives us 0 info and isn't likely to catch scum imo.

So last time Pral said he would catch up and took ages to do so he was a wolf with me

Just sayin

And the time before that, he did the exact same thing and was town with ridic good soulreads

Anyways just read the last few pages, pretty meh on most, meh on the Arsis lynch as well. Gonna read the Berf post since so many are talking about it.

Atm kinda feel happy to park a vote on Tommy tho. Would be +EV for town imo, either we lazily catch a good wolf or eliminate wifom of someone who COULD be a good deep wolf and will keep spamming the thread nonstop and make it difficult to keep up anyways.

Funny cause it meant to be semi tongue in cheek, but after typing that out I really do believe he'd be a good lynch

Oh and I got the Manbat posts pulled, will prob wait till later to post my analysis of them. I don't have him locked in as scum, but I def don't find him to be nearly as townish as others seem to, and if he's town he's gotta learn to real in the defensiveness anyways
