Yeah, I am still bothered about the lack of kill on D1. It is still unexplained with the town PRs other than BFG.

I protected Lates N1. If you go back I was BIG TIME townreading them D2 because of this. I started to doubt that I doc cleared them after considering that Manbat MIGHT have been the NK target, but BFKey not being killed or blocked last night as sole claimed town protective role (not counting JOAT, which I don't) has me thinking I was the one who stuffed the NK attempt after all.

 

Also this led me to believe Verb was town for a while (thinking that he wouldn't have been cool with NKing Leelou N1, not when she was townreading him), and partially led me to believe that Alanna and BFKey were scum. They were both big time townreading Lates D1, making me think they were trying to NK the towbiest player

bfg :: she sounds honest and they're the only claimed dedicated protector role that could have stopped the night kill n1. it's not okay to lynch them today. 

 

with that said, it needs to be noted they were at two of three nk targets, aren't dead yet, and they probably weren't roleblocked by scum last night. it also pings me they never brought up the balance considerations of bp as part of their deliberation before now - to my knowledge. and further, i'm reminded of people suggesting the wolfpack holstered that night.

 

alanna :: hedges, but it's interesting she finds dingus less than clear. i don't know if scum would do that; i was pretty sure dingus was a consensus town read.

 

ragnarok :: i am of mixed minds. he's indolent and doesn't have much backbone or thread presence, and i remember him fighting his lynch pretty hard on VS. Also, he promised to sheep dingus for town cred. wth.

 

dice :: highest wim at the moment. he shaped up, and i'm surprised he's adjusting his reads and going after despothera. more than that, he's receptive to new ideas, and appears to be keeping an open mind.

 

yates :: tinfoiling key and recommending a lynch on her when we have one or two days left is not kosher. but unvoting them is good, and i think the stubbornness is almost town yates. I'm only a little unsure because yates didn't respond to bfg's explanation how i had hoped he would. Perhaps his wim is drying up.

I didn't want to claim Doc if I didn't have to since I believe that scum have a RBer and that I could block kills at endgame. I still don't like that I had to claim.

 

And te necessary info to pursue BFKeys lynch didn't really come out till y'all said you were blocked, and again I didn't want to reveal that I was Doc or had inside info. I also felt very confident on Dice being scum.

Yes I still think Hallia is town, and I don't see how her role doesn't fit. Looks like town doesn't have a cop, and we don't know what scum has. I just have that much faith in my town read of Hallia's posts this game.

And even if you are confident Dice is scum, you still should know that BFKey is probably lying at that point. Especially given the fact the only thing making her Town was her Town "save" on Manbat.

She claimed Track on N1 - which is our role. I can buy tracking a Survivor claim. I would also assume he went nowhere since there was no kill and he'd want to sell his Survivor claim until end game.

 

She claimed Watcher - which was Arsis's role.

 

She claimed Doc N3 - which is Des's claimed role. I don't understand the logic behind "doc protecting" Des last night. As Des claims himself, he was actively trying to look VT. We had Watcher, JK, and Tracker roles [in addition to a Psychiatrist claim that is basically a VT claim now] all out in the thread. Pretty much the worst thing you can do is protect outside of that group. Even if she chose not to believe Arsis and protected us or BFKey and was wrong, that would still look better than not even trying. And that drives me nuts.

 

I guess my point here is that she claimed 2 powers that we know to exist and 1 power Des is claiming to have. So it's feasible Hally's telling the truth.

JOAT doesn't disclude the possibility of other roles that do the permanent version of that ability, and the presence of say Cop, Doc, RBer, and Vig don't disclude the possibility of JOAT that does all those things.

 

JOAT is a powerful role, period.

 

As for Hallia protecting me, I agree it wasn't the best play. Don't think that makes her scum tho. Hallia is instinct-driven with her NA's, and maybe thought I'd get killed and scum would come after her or something /shrug

... And the same night another claimed prot role was supposedly blocking a kill somewhere else. Or at least it was plausible.

Not necessarily- they are exactly what they are described as- a Jack of all trades. They allow the mod to give a team a ton of utility in a single role.

Okay, I'm going to try and say exactly where I stand.

 

I am not good with this logic stuff, but I don't trust him.

 

My perspective is this: desp was mostly inactive day 1, started day 2 with a trap 'push' on tommy to fish for traction and a cop role claim, pushed alanna and me, and me to death. then tommy dies and the next day he starts the wagon to kill verbal (another townie). on the 4th day he pushes dice, who's now appearing increasingly town, and key who prior to his doc role claim was mechanically secured.
