I get legit nervous when a flip is coming. The equivalent of watching a half decent horror movie.

I'm finding it difficult to complete this push myself. The constipation of suspense.

Could dice/despot/cory have wolves in them?

I could see Des as third party but I think main scum faction is unlikely given his tone.

 

Dice? Maybe. Cory? Seeming more likely.

Given though, you'd be hard pressed to find any day 1 lynch without scum on it.

Man how did you even manage to come back 45 min before deadline

Allag was tired of marching and following orders that made no sense.  How was he supposed to find anything to eat with every rat in the horde scrounging in the same half mile?  He smiled to himself as he slipped away from the camp.

 

“Let those fools fight for food among themselves, I’m going to find some fresh fish or perhaps a tender tench to fill m’belly.  It’s hard soldierin’’ when your belly thinks your throat’s been slit!”

 

Mumbling to himself he didn’t notice the shrew until he was almost on top of her.  Allag let out a yell and then grabbed at his sword.  He looked the shrew up and down, noting her spikey fur held in place by a brightly colored headband.  He certainly noticed the rapier, apparent at her waist, hand resting comfortably atop the hilt.    The shrew spoke with a commanding voice

 

“Who are you and what business do you have in Mossflower, rat?  Speak quickly, we GUOSIM aren’t known for our patience and I have business to see to before the day is done.  So out with it!”

 

Allag slowly lowered his sword to the ground, keeping his eyes on the shrew.  He knew he was in trouble, and as he began to straighten up he grabbed a pawful of dirt and flung it at the shrew’s eyes as his hand darted back down to his sword.  

 

As soon as the dirt hit her face, Unta threw herself behind the tree on her right.  Allag’s sword thunked into the tree, missing her by inches. He tugged it free as Unta drew her sword with one paw and rubbed at her eyes with the other.  It was no use, by the time she could see again the fight would be over.  Unta continued to paw at her eyes, but concentrated on the information being fed to her by her other senses.  To Allag’s credit, he let out no yell or battle cry as he crept up on his foe, and he swung his sword at neck level with complete confidence.  But Unta’s ears were keen and as soon as she heard the intake in breath she dropped to the ground and swung.  She let out a gasp as her rapier met no resistance and Allag let out a relieved chuckle as he jumped over the blade.  His chuckle was drowned out by Unta’s screams as he rammed his sword into her belly.

 

“Fool shrew, wandering around on its own.  Didn’t it know that the woods are filled with dangerous creatures,” Allag said aloud as he wiped his blade on Unta’s tunic.

 

“I had better get back to camp and report to the Mistress.”

 

Allag scurried off without a backwards glance, leaving the body of the young shrew, recently alive, for the worms to feed upon.

Thane, Unta Vanilla Town has been slain.

 

 

 

It is now Night 1.  Night actions are due in ~48 hours.

No immediate opinions on desp. Doubt Hallia is a wolf. Suspect Cory is a wolf. Bad feelings ensue. I don't know if I should trust my read on Hallia's personality when she's in a hydra like this.

Imo arsis/berf/Alanna/rags should be pressed tomorrow

 

I just want to hear more from berf and Rags, for sure. I feel a little better about berf since he came in and participated. Arsis I need to get a better feel for and would like to ISO tomorrow, if I have time.

 

Could dice/despot/cory have wolves in them?

 

I'm feeling good about the first two. Cory/Hallia, I'm less sure of. I think I proved last game I'm not great at reading Hallia, but she seems villagery this time around. I normally don't like her play, but I do this game. I've only played with Cory once, in a game I wasn't very active in. He was a big town leader that game, definitely more enthused than this game. But I also got the impression he could be kind of moody, so I'm not sure that means anything.
