Sili's OP felt like a forced casual post from an experienced player. The joke about only scum claiming town and then saying he had wanted to be scum but rolled town with the eyeroll added in.

As for you and Salami, I didn't like your hedge on Thane where you said that you might back off if others piled on. Salami calling w/w on Des/Thane felt a bit chainsawish to me.

So, you base my scum lean on something that someone else might have picked up..... that's pretty thin imo. I'm more interested in your own personal opinion.

Your vote for Thane is an example of a flop vote. It limply piles on without generating new reasoning or discussion.

He meant Sili instead of Thane, and the Darthe side of me is wondering if that's a scum Freudian slip, spewing Thane and Tommy as scummates

 

Tommy's comments about wanting Thane to feel the pressure of his vote even tho he would prob peek off if others joined on also greatly supports this theory

Wombat, it's kind of a problem that my brain assumed you had voted for Thane based on your initial post despite you voting for Sili and maintaining him as lead wagon. I'm wary of someone listing two scum and voting their second best suspect, but the wagon timing is potentidlly bleh.

What if his opinion is the same as one already stated? You can't cast doubt on somebody while using a poor counter yourself.

If it would be his personal opinion, i assume he would have worded it diffirently. As in: I agree with Des that Thane's tone is off. In his current wording, i conclude that he's solely using Des' findings

My problem with Thane is that his tone always seems off to me and scummy. And half the time what he says doesn't make sense to me. Not sure if it's a language thing or what. The only difference I see is that on spaceballs, for instance, he was very much at the sidelines and coasting through with the off post here and there. He also really enjoyed using the confused card. Here so far he's meeting posts head on in real time. So it gives me pause. So I'm giving him a tentative null for now.

 

Looking forward to see what Des meant.

It's true that Thane can often look scummy as town a lot, but I've also been able to clear him as town in the past

 

The whole way he opened the game was really wolfy, trying too hard to look like a friendly ol townie like everyone else, and then tried deflecting after I voted him and has had continuously bad tone.

 

I also just wolfed with him and his posts look exactly the same as they did in that game. Overselling paranoia, overselling his towniness, overselling that he's a chummy dude who everyone should wanna party with
