How does that work out with my ISO of Mish?  She has basically been town on Yates for most of the game.

This has been exactly my problem. Kronos has been null to scum on me while Mish has been Town reading me from the start. I also gave her credit for defending me while I was gone and preventing the CFD that could have let LouNy slip the noose. Dice later pointed out that HE was the one that first brought it up. So this is the part I want to look back on. I gave Mish a blue for doing that - which made these guys a dark green.

 

 

Yes, please look at this and tell me what you think.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Basically - I'm leaning Yates now, but need to complete my ISO's

 

It's almost 4 PM GMT on October 22 which means we have roughly one day and 7 hours to come to a decision.

 

Deadline for Central Standard Time would be 6 PM tomorrow if I've calculated right - we have time and I plan to use it.

How does that work out with my ISO of Mish? She has basically been town on Yates for most of the game.

My reads are all off because we saw both of you as town. I know I'm town, so it has to be one of you two. As I said...my ISO isnt complete...I'm stating what I feel as of now.

 

 

You've been saying for quite a while now that one of Krak or I is the likely scum.  You've also shown a willingness to lynch Yates that Mish doesn't appear to share.

 

 

 

 

3. I've spent the last week trying to figure out if I have cancer (which I'm glad to say I don't have) - sorry - Mafia wasn't a priority

+1  Glad to hear the news was good, Kronos!  While I definitely do not think you're inserting RL here as a distraction, I have to admit that it is still working that way.  I'm second-guessing a lot of my reads on your slot with respect to the inconsistency Yates pointed out between you and Mish.  This is a wrinkle I did not anticipate.

Alright, Verb, I have a question for you that's been bugging me for a while... Why was Nolder the NK target on N2 over more obvious choices like Dice and Barm?

 

This was a classic example of me NOT abiding by Occam's Razor.  The easiest explanation was that Krak didn't kill Nolder, who was on his "to-be-lynched" list.  He would have killed the consensus blues........but I was allowing myself to envision the scenario as I would play it.  That was my error - Krak does not think in the same way I do.  I would have killed Nolder there to make it seem obvious that it wasn't me, given that Nolder was Krak's next scum read.

 

So due to that, I misread the intentions of Krak by limiting my vision to what I would do in that spot.  And it fueled my "case" on Krak.

 

Actually, that and his seeming unwillingness (until the end) to consider that he'd need to die for town to win is what clinched it for me.  I'm 100% to blame for his lynch - had I been looking for what was the easiest and most reasonable explanation, I would have arrived at a different conclusion.

I'm done rereading for now, will get back to it later, willing to discuss things though...there were times when Mish was willing to vote Yates - let me see if I cna find a quote.

 

I think she considered it once - if that.  Overwhelming majority of the time she was town on him.

You can't count the first two - those are not articulated FOSes or anything.  Those appear in context as Mish tossing out some thoughts and impressions.  Since then, she's been pretty firmly town on Yates.

This post is interesting in a couple of ways. First, obviously she's defending LouNy. So you would think she would want to see another more reasonable wagon. But look at the NEXT post...

Yeah. That gives you an idea of how weak that was since I didn't even remember that. But let's look at it in context.

It does when it literally makes no sense. How can you accuse me of a double standard when my vote for Nolder literally had no justification behind it [read:rvs vote]? Please help me understand your logic here.

1. He's not interacted with a whole lot of people, he's not given opinions on very many

2. Most people have said they have him as a town lean, not many people have discussed him.

 

So there's very little info to be gained, compared to others. Here's my issue 

I think DM gets way too caught up in the "info" of a lynch

 

If we lynch a villager, no matter what, we ascertain NO good information.

 

Lynching a wolf always beats lynching even the villager with the most content because villagery content basically means nothing because they are villagers and working with the same info we have

Not saying Yates is a good lynch, not really sure ATM

 

But my strategy is always to try and lynch a wolf Day 1

I don't think Krak has the highest % of being a wolf but I'm going to try and see what you two see

 

 

I would much rather lynch a person that has been involved in alot of discussions on D1. Gives me more to go back and look at when preparing for D2. Interactions is how we find mafia... Wich is why I never agree with policy-lynching inactives. I'm here to find mafia, and I find mafia by analyzing interactions.

Well this just turned my whole worldview upside down. I really didn't see LouNy as mafia. I do think Yates look somewhat cleared, due to LN switching to him at the end there... Nolder does seem like the most likely teammate for them now. Logically I guess Krak is pretty cleared, but my stubborness it loathe to let go :laugh: But my insticts have already been seen off. Imma reread today too, especially EOD since I mostly skimmed it on my dying phone due to the storm yesterday. Think Barm's post before end of night here makes him look good, actually.

To this:

My "not willing to lynch"-list is Dice, Verb, Barm, those are the three I feel strongest about (my blue list). Tina, I feel pretty confident about. Krak I'm leaving only solely for the fact that LouNy's vote was parked there the whole day; no matter what else I have thoughts on his play, that's a pretty clear. So that's my greens. Leaves Nolder, Hallia and Yates. Nolder I've been very back and forth on, Hallia I really don't have a big read on, and Yates I have a weird feeling about, the fact that I have such a little read on him considering how relativly vocal he was D1 makes me feel off, but at the same time, the fact that LouNy jumped on his train last minute; you'd think they'd love the chance to get another train going. Then again, it might be an attempt at getting one of them cleared if the other got lynched. Cause it makes me think like I do now that they were lynched, and if Yates had ended up getting lynched, that would have made LouNy look good... So ok, I'm just not gonna think about that, and I'll see how they interacted on a reread instead.

Oops. Didn't mean to post yet but just as well. I thought it was just you being inconsistent, Kronos. But look at those lines highlighted in blue. Then look at how the game progressed and how she ended up voting. Granted, this is 90% ISO and I *COULD BE* missing context for some of this. But in ISO? And given how I know she voted? Can you explain the progressions here? I see a LOT of going with the Town flow throughout the game and that's the only explanation I have, currently.

And it adds to my earlier point that a blue read was probably just sitting back and watching the show.  Once the game progressed and they were considered a consensus blue read.......they pretty much dropped off and went to the sidelines.
