Hi, thought it best to introduce myself here :)

My name is Archer and I've literally (as of Thursday) finished reading the whole WoT series. I started in April this year after getting the recommendation from a work colleague. However I think I got hooked stronger than he did considering I was thinking how cool Callandor was while he was still reading about Baerlon. As such I have no one I know who has read them all enough to discuss things with and blood and ashes I need to talk about these books with people lol. I loved them :D

Also just found out about JordonCon and I'm not lying, I'm debating attending next year. Anyone here been?

Literally have no idea what else to put here other than Hi :)

Hi, Archer!

Yes, there have been quite a number of people who have gone to JordanCon. You might want to head off to the discussion forums. :)

The social groups are a good way to meet people if you are so inclined. The role play area offers you an opportunity to write your own character into a WoT setting. If you have any questions, please ask.

Welcome, Archer!  I'm so glad you were introduced to the series, and that you loved it as much as we do!

I've been to JordanCon the past two years, and I'm going again next year.  We generally have a dozen or so from DM who visit the Con.  I really hope you can make it next year!  It's so wonderful to get together with people who share a common passion.  And since it's relatively small (I think there were 600 people who attended last year), it's easy to find people to talk to.  You feel right at home, right from the start!

600 people is a standard size con in the UK so that sounds great lol :) Really hoping to be able to attend because i need to talk to other people about these books lol :) Plus i cosplay and my next few costumes are from the books so it'd be nice to have the chance to do that around other fans.

There are so many wonderful WoT costumes at JordanCon--as well as other Brandon Sanderson fandoms/characters.  The winner of the costume contest was dressed as Syl from Brandon's Stormlight Archive series (and the same girl won the previous year dressed as an Eelfinn).

At the Phoenix Comicon last May, my sister and I dressed in our Aes Sedai costumes, complete with shawls.  We were actually recognized by WoT fans there, which was very rewarding!  *lol*  I had more people recognize my Aes Sedai costume than my Mistborn costume!
