Well, if you're town you wouldn't really worry about that? If you are town, you play like normally and that is your town meta.

If you are scum, you would worry about not being sloppy. About being on your town meta.

Dap is trying to adjust his meta so he can be a better mafia, and Wombat is trying (too hard) to be "new school". Red trying to put the leading train "on hold" and randomly picks two players we should focus on. Cory suicided and drew alot of attention doing so.

 

This is gonna be a tough game.

Nope, the ninja-comment had nothing to do with my read on Cory (except he apparently took MK-suicide). 

 

I fail to see how my comment is flip-flopping. I tried to make my stance on him clear, but ok - to clarify even more (this is - ignoring the suicide-part which I guess clears him and proves me wrong):

 

Corys game so far has read to me like scum, so I'm leaning scum on him. Period. 

 

I'm not confident in reading Cory. I don't know his playstyle at all so I'm wary of jumping the gun here and voting him. He is in my scum-pile but I want to see more before we lynch him.

 

Tommy came out and pretty strongly claimed Cory was scum. I didn't link them, they've had a strong interaction. So far I belive Tommy is town. Cory claims Tommy is scum but I'm not sold, even if (/when) cory flips town. 

 

Did that clarify abit?

At this point, I was with you on the Cory read.  He read to me as scum and I've only played two games with him.  My gif was an attempt to push cory some more (in light of your flailing comment)  Had I known he would do what he did, I wouldn't have posted that.

Wombie-kun is hard to read. His range is pretty balanced. I've seen things that I think are both townie and scummy from him, I'm not comfortable giving a read on him in general, BUT I saw a post from early in the game I thought was good for him, where he said Des was scum so RTE and 2 other people were spewed as town. The only problem is if one of those players flips scum and he was trying to associative-clear him with the others. I dunno which player that would be, lemme find the post...

There, this. I dunno if scum would make this post, or rather, if they'd be thinking about who gets clear if a player flips scum.

 

It's thin, but there it is, that post makes me lean slight town on Wombie-kun.

 

On the converse, he's seemed a bit fence-sitty, like when he said he couldn't decide on Des or Cory, and something else I forgot. It seemed like it could be opportunistic.

 

So I'd say he's almost perfectly null, all things considered?

Could be just him being a townie smartypants. Or a playful scum. Either way, not a fan of these kind of jokes. It's one of the things I beat myself over later on when people flip scum and I'm all, how did I not see right through that? Reminds me of when Verbal and Leelou were joking around about what duo meta to use when they were getting heat over their interactions. Those kind of jokes only make it harder to read people. I wanna see some serious real-feels get thrown between WWW and Cory - Ithi isn't around to make Mynd go all "derp", so I gotta take my laughs where I get them.

 

Dawn actually posted?!?! And tried to make a read?? She's scum.

 

 

Not liking this at all. At this point the game shifted away from jokey D1 spam. Wombat and Cory's back and forth was information to be sorted through, not an entertainment material. So basically, he makes a point of stating that he is following the going ons in the game, but not bothering to try to get a read out of it.

 

The comment about Dawn is basically false. From the games I've played with her I've noticed her being relatively inactive regardless of her alignment and she usually gets crap for it (and rightly so). So when she does post she's lockscum? lol Yeah, whatever. Why not refer to what she actually said to try to discredit her, instead of  claiming that a posting Dawn is a scum Dawn?

More criticism on Dawn actually being active lol  You know, Dawn is WAY past the newbie phase. She should be very familiar with the game by now and should play accordingly. I will be the first one to admit that I'm not a fan of how she plays. I always find her scummy no matter what she says, but I also acknowledge the fact that she's easy jailbait for scum to use for a mislynch. In Red Wedding she might have been a townie, but for all purposes her actions were that of a symp cause scum had her under their thumb.

 

I'm really not loving the fact that between 17 players in the game, the only person you decide to note is Dawn. What bothers me further is that you're not even critisizing the content of her posts, which is lolDawn, but rather the fact that she's actually posting. Weak.

Then he shows up saying he's off focus and that he's always perceived as scummy. He chuks up his whole interaction with Dawn as being a joke and a way to get her used to pressure early in the game. That way she won't be inclined to bail from the game all emo (I didn't realize this was something Dawn did in previous games. Is it?). But basically the only scum read he had is gone..... and he's been applying pressure for lolz? >.>  Backpaddling.

In a nuttshell, not loving Tsuki's complete lack of reads or even opinions about ANYTHING that isn't a joke. We're past D1 lolz. It's time to stop pulling Dawn's braid and start playing. All you've posted is spam, your general POV about the AtE and giving a scum read on Dawn that you later retracted as a joke. Huge ass FOS.

 

 

I'm gonna be looking into a couple more people before voting. But I'd feel comfortable placing my vote here If Tsuki keeps running in circlets. All I see is zero intentions to solving this game.

Well, sucks what Cory did and what happened with him. FWIW, I had a scum read on him till the point he quoted his role PM. Mainly because he was emo way too early on the game. Like he did in Real Genius. But which he didn't do in Buffy (not so early)

 

That said, as of now, my two suspicions.

 

 

Also, people seem to be taking RTE's OP out of context and I think that's why the votes on him started.  It's null imo.  His reaction to the pressure has been kinda crappy imo, but that

's also kinda null for me atm as RTE is pretty scummy and flippant every time I see him play.  Kind of like a more spastic Lenlo.

I get goosepricks everytime I see Wombat defending someone using their meta. He does that somewhat as scum. Mainly a meta read.

Consider those people locked in save for Womby who could, as I said, be potentially harmed by both a tommy and des town flip.  Don't think that will happen though.  As for the other three?  I read their souls and found them pure.  WTL from TG down after tomorrow, Prefer to lynch from Tsuki down.

It would be difficult to pen a post more conspicuous and oozing with awkwardness than this one.

 

We need to lynch Dap today, seriously. He's scum.

 

 

Generally speaking competing trains is a good thing, imo, but it shouldn't rule one's vote. If Player thought that RTE was scummier than Cory, then that's perfectly fine. He should have just said so and explain why. But his reasoning here seems jumbled and I don't quite follow it.

DM just deleted the quotes I had built up when I clicked "Reply to quoted posts".  That's horseshat.  I am going to go on without them.  I am at page 30 right now and will continue from there.  Here were the main points that I remember:

Tommy, I don't care what you were trying to show your friend.  That you're using him at all as a reason that we should potentially treat you differently looks hellaciously bad to me.  I haven't seen much play from you so far that gives me town-vibes and I am seeing a TON of appeals to character, etc.  Not going to fly.

 

Womby, you got 99 problems and Des looks to be all of em.  Stop it.

There is some terribly static play going on here between the three of you and you're fooling yourselves if you think otherwise.  Additionally, Des, you are famously inflexible and dogmatic so I got a good chuckle from you saying you prided yourself on the ability to change your reads with new evidence.  You're more likely to move me to the scum pile for saying you might be wrong about a read than you are to more than half-heartedly reconsider your position on someone you think is scum.  

 

With the above said I do think you're right on Tommy, mainly because of the things I mentioned to him at the top and because he made a joke of a reads list post where he only had four slight townies and one of them was the person he is voting.  Not a snowballs chance in hell that he doesn't have at least some better reads than that by now and the fact that he didn't give reasoning points to them being false.  If he was able to get a "LOCKSCUM" read on Cory in four pages he could have gotten solid ones on more than four of us in the days since then.  He isn't remotely a lazy townie thus it's fake.  Oh, and additionally I want to take a moment to mention that Tommy has been trying to cover for the Cory death ever since it happened.  He seems paranoid that it's going to be blamed on him.  That's classic TTT scum behavior.  <----Lynch HERE.

 

Mynd looked odd when he put himself in the negative category in his own reads list.  I really disliked that and he dropped a slot or two for it IMO.  Also, his reads list is almost identical of mine, something I never like.  I didn't like how Des called him lock clear for it.

 

Nyn had a fantastic post that I can't see her ever making as scum somewhere around page 30 or so.
