Wow is all i have to say!! And introductions...

Eye of the world and so on..Where have i been? I'm an avid fantasy/scifi reader...I've read everything from Hyperion,to Game of Thrones..I've had the Eye of the World on my bookshelf forever promising myself that one day i would read it.Well a broken ankle later and I decide to grab it..and Wow!!where have I been...It's great to read..not too elaborate and exciting...Robert Jordan doesn't go into elaborate detailing of certain things and every chapter I've read so far is well written...sad i didn't discover the series sooner:-( I can't remember the last time I was so into a book that I'm up into the wee twilight hours and can't put it down..:-)!!...But what gets me more excited is that there's about 9 or more in the series!!! I hate when a series ends:-( In most forums Iam known as Playd0e and am introducing myself after raving like a lunatic on how well written this book is..I also enjoy The Malazan Book of the Fallen, Hyperion, The Dune Chronicles,Thomas Covenant...etc. I'm glad there's a forum where i can ask questions to other like minded folk and thank you for the chance at introducing myself...now stay on your guard, and the Dark One has no power as long as you deny him!!

Since you haven't finished the series be careful in the discussion boards, they might contain spoilers.

 

Our Social Groups can be a great way to get to know some of the other members, have fun and discuss common interests. I can personally comment on two of the social groups I'm a member of; First is group is the Black Tower which is an overall fun place to go for fun, games and just plain oddities (We're tainted there so there's a lot of silliness).. The Second the Band of the Red Hand where we enjoy discussing music, travel and food. There are a number of other Social Groups you can check out so please do so and join the one(s) that appeal to you.  You may join as many groups as you like so check them all out when you have the time and, most of all, have fun!
