I apologize for reading someone as town and then giving their well-explained cohesive thoughts some weight in my mind on a forum which I've played on three times and don't know half the frickin' players on at all considering you guys weigh EVERYTHING so heavily on metas I do not understand

The odds of the people independently following one another in this game like that are over 1/200. The odds of the lynch being all town are worse. How likely do you think it is that one of you three are mafia? Better, who do you think was scum on the Jack lynch?

But you will never, never make me woebegone or upset that I was wrong. I was wrong on my scumreads in the last game 99.9% of the time - I still kept my thought process cohesive enough to be spewed clear and let more adjusted players take charge and guess what? Town won, as they tend to do when I'm town regardless of whether I'm right from the getgo or not.

Could I be wrong about Des? Sure, he's a good enough player. I'm confident I'll get him if he slips, but right now I can follow him very well.

Everything I've heard from you all game is like "train mechanics" discussing well x is x and y is y - I don't really operate on assuming certain trains or x and y or probability - I can follow you WHEN YOU EXPLAIN WHY YOU FEEL A CERTAIN WAY ABOUT A PLAYER, but to say X is scum because YZ and B were on C and YZ and B were on D and therefore math math I am just going to tune you out completely.

The three trains that had me, Tina, and Des, yes? That would be Salami (now Tommy), Jack and someone else. I don't know who I've voted for besides Jack and Salami.

The "odds" of people independently following eachother? Are you kidding? I can't remember the last time me and Tommy have played together where we HAVEN'T voted together; that's the whole #alliance deal about establishing a strong town unit. I read Tina and Des as town early and our pushes matched; that's MINDMELD territory, so ADDITIONAL TOWN POINTS.

 

Unless you are saying we should have all random fired votes.

 

I think it's unlikely that Tina or Des is Mafia but obv could be wrong, yaknow, Mafia.

 

Scum on the Jack lynch? Lenlo is a possibility, but that could be confirmation bias. Dice sticks out but his willingness to get @ me early on incorrect premises makes me think he's town more often than not. There's a plenty fine chance quite a few scum players didn't get their hands dirty and we had v-v wagons.

While I'm not arguing the possibility of Mafia on the Jack train, there's no causality principle here and the amount of Mafia in the Jack pool is not guaranteed higher % than the non Jack pool - this is just rampant speculation with no thread evidence to support it. So your statement, as far as I care, is invalid anyway. These are not "facts" - in fact, it's this black and white cherrypicking kind of thought process that derail town regardless of YOUR alignment. Should we just lynch every Jack train member until we've won or lost? Is that your approach to a SOLVE?

 

Day 1 scum lynches are great, but if you think I'm UNFIT TO FIND MAFIA because I supported a lynch that ended in a town lynch Day 1, I don't really care to communicate with you further. That's your awful opinion and oyu can hold it.

 

I'm more confident on Tina, I'd guess, because I know Des can spin a yarn, but I think both are town.

 

I seriously don't how to deal with this type of thinking
