Did you not notice that after I shot him, that there wasn't a single joke vote or anymore spam? I kickstarted the game and got it serious. My shot did that. It moved the game forward. A Vig shot can accomplish much more than just shooting scum. Hell, 75% of Vig shots hit Town anyway. Seeing as my shot percentage thus far is 50%, I'm doing better than most.

No, I didn't. Mish and Hobbit were shot within ten minutes of each other, do you think I can daykill twice in the same day phase? Han's a badass, but not that badass. Mish's kill, as I said before, was probably an SK. Certainly wasn't a scum daykill, unless you think they'd kill one of their own.

The celebrations from the day before were still on going when the sun started to rise. Knowing that the danger wasn't over, the Rebels regrouped and started to focus on the next task. Unfortunately, they noticed some of their numbers were missing. They happened upon C-3PO dismantled and strewn across the floor. However, he wasn't the only casualty. Luke was found, in his X-wing with a blaster wound to his chest. 

 

Tress - C-3PO, a member of the Rebel Alliance (mason), is dead. 

 

Goldy - Luke Skywalker, a member of the Rebel Alliance (vt), is dead. 

 

It is now day. With 5 alive, it takes 3 to lynch.

Not surprising, Pral.  The "Oh by the way, Im cop and I found Mish was scum N1" thing pinged me earlier on, but you weren't countered so I didn't really focus on it.  Let's go back and loo though, why don't we? 

 

Issue #1: You have a guilty and know that there are TWO players that can shoot during the day.  Probably a good idea to get that information out asap

 

Issue #2: Even if you want to slow play, you need to make it obvious you KNOW Mish is scum in the event you are killed before Mish is lynched/you can reveal.  Let's look at what you actually did.

 

The night was quiet, almost too quiet. That's when you realize the hairy beast hasn't growled, howled, grunted or threatened to pull anyone's arms out of their sockets for hours. Half running, half stumbling, you make your way to the walking carpet's room. Out of breath by the time you get there, you cautiously open the door and your worst fears are true. Chewbacca is dead. 

 

Dice, Chewbacca - member of the Rebel Alliance (vt), is dead. 

 

It is day, with 10 alive it takes 6 to lynch. Deadline is Saturday 12 pm EST (78 hours) 

 

 

Well, this game just kind of died down

 

Very first post after day break.  No excitement, no nothing.  Leaves no breadcrumb in the event that he gets shot.

 

So, after that flip and going back to look at the game so far, here are my my thoughts

 

Darthe and Lily started off with a big argument and both suspected each other. Both of them flipped to be town.

 

Tress and AVM also had a different set of argument, mainly related to whether JN ers did the day kill or not. I don't think it made a lot of sense to argue based on where they play from. But, at least looking the posts, AVM seemed a lot defensive and picking on a minor point that she was never on JN while Tress was solid in her defence. Slight scum read on AVM and town read on Tress.

 

GE had a confrontation with others but  how he backed down seemed townish. It looked like a townie making a rash statement and then on realising that he is backed to a corner, toned down. The scum GE I know is a lot more aggressive.

 

Have a solid town read on Peace and Ishy  .

 

That leaves Hallia, Key, Mish and GF.

Looking specifically at Mish's posts.
 
She starts off with her ignorance of the theme. Which is fine, we are all not nerds, are we? :)
 
Then she has a few posts on how she will either catch up, reread or wait until tomorrow. Looks like she is lurking and hesitant to give out reads. I understand that she may have real life situations but so many of the, in the same game, on Day1 sounds really odd.

A quick shot is unusual, but not unheard of on DM. It might also be that whoever shot wants us to think it's a JN'er, good work of no-one putting out that possibiity. Not that I saw at least; but I mostly skimmed now to catch up, will read properly later. But I just wanted to put that out there.

Ok I've thouroughly neglected this game. I was gonna reread it yesterday, and then Things Happened. My life is crazy. Today my brother is coming over for dinner, but I'll cram in as much time as I can to reread. I'm really sorry to the game and to Leelou.

 
And, then there was her post, which seemed fine at that time but on seeing the flips and a reread, lit up like a beacon for me. I have played a lot of games with Mish and I have observed that when she is scum, she is a bit cautious about her votes and mainly focuses on nudging. Where town Mish is more ready to go directly and strongly after her suspects.

Why bring up the trigger-option? The scene states that Han Solo took the shot. Even I have heard that name. Makes it pretty clear it was a person who took the shot.

 

 
Nudges me slightly. It was a weak argument especially after Leelou specifically mentioned not to read anything other than alignments from scenes. I pointed it to her and she totally ignored the point, yet not removing the vote until just before the deadline. The problem here is she neither strongly came back on me and it looked like she had forgotten that she had even voted me.

Nudges with a suspicion on Dice. It was just a passing comment by Dice but somehow Mish finds it suspicious. She eventually votes Dice, so that is fine.

AFAIK, Lily's original case was that Darthe said "It doesn't matter" to a comment Key made about a post Lily made... Right? And that was Lily's whole case on Darthe? Eh... It's weak, to say the least.

 

 
And then a slight nudge on Lily. Not strong but just attempting to throw suspicion back on her.
She also proceeds to talk to others but I felt the rest of the post fine.
 
The main thing is that she never comes back strongly on any of the points. After pointing out that Dice claimed Chewbacca, she drops him off the radar. She drops me,GE, Lily off her radar till the time of the deadline where she appears just enough to hammer.
 
I am pretty sure she is scum this game.

Big post with all of Mishs posts.  He's "pretty sure" Mish is scum.  I get subtlety and not wanting to give yourself away, but a cop would have to assume there would be a doc as well -- so a reveal doesn't equate to his death.  You also then have the chance of the wifom doc block.

 

Goldy kept screaming that there were so many vanilla in an unbasic game -- the reason it's unbasic is because there is no cop.

I read Ishy's post and did the math wrong.  Was thinking Yoda wasn't in the game based off the numbers, but he definitely is.

 

I'd say based off all deaths being vanilla (save for R2) or goon mafia, it's pretty safe to say the SK is a one man team -- not the Boba/Jabba combo we tossed out there on D1.  Here's what we know:

Hallia and Mish were both voting Pral on D1, as we earlier discussed.  No way Pral is scum.  Consider, though, that they both voted him...and just as Ishy comes in and says he doubts Mish is scum BOOM -- she gets shot.

 

He set out a case against her, Ishy didn't bite and infact says he'd RATHER lynch Pral...

 

 

 

So are we just going to wait until tomorrow, run up one of Mish/Pral, them reveal, then run the other up?
