Part 2 - In Character Development

2.1. What kind of a woman was your character when she was enrolled as
a novice and what kind of a woman is she now?

My character came to the White Tower, wondering at the world she had
gotten herself into.  All she had known for most of her life was her
parents’ inn, and a little bit of Aes Sedai.  She had only heard of
the world from what the Aes Sedai brought to her.

She has since learned to adapt herself to change, her missing arm
included.  She understands that there is usually more than two sides
to a story, and that she will be able to help those that need change
and protection as well when she is raised.  At the same time, she
knows that she is not perfect and will herself need help from time to
time.

2.2. What have been the most important, defining events in her life
and how have they changed her? Separate the events to life before the
Tower, life as novice and life as Accepted. Who are the people that
have affected her life the most as Novice and as Accepted and how have
they done that?

Aureli’s life began to go into motion when her mother died.  She took
on new responsibilities in the inn and new responsibilities to the Aes
Sedai who visited on occasion.  She had to adapt to losing her mother
and helping in different ways than usual.

Another event would be when she began taking lessons in the White
Tower and beginning to understand how to live her life there.  There
were certain things that she had to change or do differently from
everyone else, including learning weaves differently, since she was
missing an arm.

The event that led her to choosing her Ajah was when she was allowed
to see a male channeler brought in.  She was not allowed to view the
gentling, but she spoke with the man’s wife.  The woman was
devastated, but had to remain strong for her husband.  Not only that,
but there was the future to consider.  How would they pick up the
pieces after all this was over?  It made Aureli realize that the
capturing and gentling of male channelers wasn’t simply a power play,
but a way of protecting those who couldn’t protect themselves.

2.3. What are your character's weaknesses? Strengths? What is her
inner struggle?  What is her philosophy of life?

Aureli’s biggest weakness has always been the fact that her right arm
is missing.  It causes her to take on more than she can bear at times,
and also at times, it causes her to accept things that she’d rather
not accept, like help or pity.  Sometimes, she lashes out if she
thinks she has been given undue pity.  It leaves her open and
vulnerable, but in learning to be Aes Sedai, she has learned to push
that vulnerability to the side to deal with tasks at hand.

Aureli’s strengths lie in her mind.  Since she has only one arm, it
has forced her to take things step by step and view the world in a
different way than most others would see it.  Therefore, she is very
curious as to how things work, and how to make them work differently.

2.4. What three words best describe your character's personality?

Stubborn, wise, curious

Part 3 - The Role of an Aes Sedai

3.1. What do you think the role of an Aes Sedai is ICly?

The role of an Aes Sedai IC is to support the main timeline while
establishing different connections to the White Tower.  Her Ajah and
the Tower hold precedence over all alliances.

3.2. What has been the greatest sacrifice your character has made to
become an Aes Sedai?

The biggest sacrifice Aureli made to become Aes Sedai was leaving
home.  She left behind her father and little brother, and the
responsibilities she had earned at her parents’ inn and working as an
eyes-and-ears agent.  It was a big sacrifice to make for something
that may not have fulfilled everything it promised.

3.3. How is your character going to Serve All?

Along with capturing and gentling male channelers, Aureli will strive
to protect the people affected by their madness and the One Power they
wield.  Not only that, but she will put forth an effort to help them
pick up the pieces and move on after everything.

3.4. What would you like your character to achieve? What are her
ambitions in life? What kind of RP plans do you have in mind for your
Sister?

I would like my character to interact with the Black Tower at some
point.  She’s an older sister, but I think she’d be open-minded enough
to figure out what the Asha’man are for.

3.5. How does your character feel about Warders in general and of the
whole bonding?

Aureli understands why Warders are useful, and she understands why
Reds are not allowed to bond as well.  At the same time, she feels
there may come a day when Red sisters will bond Warders.

Part 4 - The White Tower and You

4.1. Did anything change in your opinion about the White Tower
Division so far? Do you have (any new) remarks or suggestions about
the daily life in the Division? Please say whatever's on your mind,
feedback is muchly appreciated and will be taken seriously.

I’m still liking it.  ;)

4.2. Do you think that this interview is necessary or even useful? Do
you find anything that needs improving in this interview?

I think we could possibly trim down some of the questions, but I think
it’s useful.

4.3. Whatever else you want to say or add, can be said here. All
comments, Suggestions and Bribes are welcome!

I think she’s finally done!!
