Sons of Anarchy: Season 6

Good season opener but I got kind of confused a few times about who was who and why they were around.

It's been awhile since last season I guess.

Yeah I did a catch up on Netflix before I watched the new episode.

[Nolder]

I bet that helped

I was more than a little lost

Did we know who that kid was before the episode? 

[SBoydW]

No. That tied back to one of the gun deals they did at the end of the last season.

The kid used one of the guns that they sold.

Ohhhhh ok now that makes a little more sense. Thanks for clearing that up.

I think the kid means more than just a connection to guns.  He must be symbolic of what the Club is doing to society around them... which is why the kid kept showing up all over the place during the episode.  This might be the thing that finally results in the club shutting down.

So is Clay ever gonna bite the dust or what?

WOW! What an episode!

 

 

 

Tigg alive. Unser carved up. Touric dead. Otto dead. Two more members of SAMCRO dead. IRA as enemies. Chibbs on Jax about turning into Clay. Wendy working for Tara.

 

So freaking much happened. If SAMCRO keeps losing members like this the club is done. They need Bobby to come back and stay.

Yeah... Whatever bobby is up to is what I'm interested. Whatever it is he called it "historic" or something along those lines iirc...

It's such a great show!

Did anyone see the afterward that was after the first episode with Kurt Sutter - it was so awesome hearing about how he writes and all of the thought that he puts into the production, Tig was there and the dedication of the actors as well was awesome.

So the whole Bobby build up suspense thing was a bit of a let down.  It makes sense but it seemed like they were building to something else and then... blaaa, loved the final scene with the dirty cops apologizing.  That humor is something the show has been missing lately for me. Glad to have that back for at least that one scene.

The club was desperately in need of new members, so glad Bobby wasn't just taking off.

Hope we get to see more of him this season.

What I took away from last nights episode: women be crazy.

Respect Tara... respect.

Respect? She's fallen to Gemma levels of nutso.

Granted "drastic times calls for drastic measures", but she has reached the epitome of conniving on this show. 

As far as I'm concerned she's in a four way tie with Clay, Gemma, and Jax now.

[SBoydW]

No way.

 

This is the only way that she can get her kids away without having to look over her shoulder. Gemma's motivation has been about power and control, no matter how much she spouts off about family, Clay was about money. And Jax? I don't know... he's certainly not all shiny but, he's no way on the level of Clay and Gemma.

 

Tara's motivations are completely different, and totally and truly focused on her children's safety. No comparison.... well reasonable comparison.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

How you go about things matters and in this case she's crushed Jax in more ways than one and technically speaking sent a (mostly) innocent woman to jail.

I agree Nolder - I think she has spent too much time learning crazy behavior from Gemma, she had been getting crazier and crazier for a couple seasons. 

[Nolder]

I think she realizes and regrets what she's had to become.

I think maybe we're going to see Tara kill herself before the season ends.

[Aidanna]

Maybe - I am hoping that the boys are too important to her for that to happen, but I guess we'll see.

Yeah after some "stew time" I have to admit she went a little far.  Suicide I think would be a little far. She may try to run though.
