Is there anyway of finding a list of all the sword moves in the book, seeing how they are performed, etc either photos or detailed description.

I try to imagine them in my head. but ignorance plus repetion pretty much leads to the same moves or a very special display of finger painting. :P

Anyone?

Robert Jordan just made up the moves while he wrote. He had a large collection of weapons, which he would take down and act out the moves he envisioned in his head. He then attempted to name the moves according to whatever inspiration the move gave him. Things like Heron Wading the Rushes is fairly obvious if you've ever seen a heron. The Board Rushes Down the Hill/Mountain is also fairly obvious. It is a charge with a stabbing/goaring intent. Cutting the Clouds would be a downward slice starting in a high position. Hummingbird Kisses the Rose would be a fast stab/thrust at the heart, but not committed with strength like the Boar technique would be. It is a move designed to keep the person off balance and occupied with defence, not an actual committed attack (though if you get lucky, then great). Parting the Silk would be a slice, of course. I imaging a slash from side to side aimed at the stomach. Some forms are footwork/movements rather than attack or defense. Some names don't readily supply an image as to what is actually happening. In general there is block, parry, thrust, and slice moves. Everything else is just a variation of those with different stances, or is footwork.
