Obviously, this is Harry Dresden themed mafia. There will not be any major spoilers for anyone intending to read the series (which I do recommend). To make an allusion to Harry Potter, I might put Harry as a Wizard, or Mad Eye Moody as a Aurora (sp?); but nothing too revealing such as Lupin's true nature.

I am also looking for a co-mod.

This game will start as soon as good ol' Wombat gets back to me with a final OK on my setup and I have enough people signed up. I'm looking for around 20 or so people.

 

Rules (someone please let me know if I forget something on this list; unlike some people, this is my first time)

 

1. I am the Lord thy mod. What I say goes. Same with Quibby. As far as you're concerned, Quibby is god. And I'm the consultant who hired god. (please, someone get that reference)

2. Game me, by all means. My other...wait, 0 games, will come in sooo much help.

3. No editing. Except me. Because the exception proves the rule.

4. No bah post. None. Sorry.

5. No outside game communication unless given permission to do so by myself. And, even then, it's limited to what I tell you you can do.

6. Any Actions you have must be submitted via your role PM.

7. Day 1 will not have a deadline unless I see need to implement one. After that, Days will be 72 hours, Nights 36. Weekends will count for half time.

8. Days can get extensions if you guys are active.

9. Be active. 1 game related post per game day minimum.

10. Follow DM rules. No personal attacks, you guys know the drill.

11. This is a hammer game. Votes must be bold, italics, and red. Because I can.

12. No major Dresden Files spoilers are allowed. Dresden Files references, however, are encouraged.

13. You will not be able to replace in when you die. Sorry folks. Backups are welcome.

14. GFY, and all that fun stuff. Go jump in a lake.

15. You can vote No Lynch and Self Lynch.

16. If you don't reach a majority...well let's just say it won't be fun for you guys.

17. Phases will be normal with two additions. There will be a phase after day I'll call 'twilight' that is before night officially starts, and a phase after night i'll call 'dawn' which is before day. During these phases, no posting. Nothing too special about them, it's just when any PMs or the like will be sent out.

I think Nolder is right in thinking that it would be better if we just had all games run on the DM mafia boards.

 

Nope.  Things get convoluted and it puts pressure on experimental games =p  It is nice to have different things designated for different places.

 

 

If you look at the people playing in all 3 games going on right now its pretty much the same crowd in each game. I'd personally prefer to have 2 as a max games running with everyone participating to getting 4 to 5 games with half assed efforts all round.

 

 

I'm only in two so ill sign up to spot 9
