Sorry guys :( Wrote up a post but apparently forgot to post it, then forgot about all RP stuffs for a while *headdesk* Haven’t had much access to a puter either I’m a lousy excuse for an rper.

 

 

Do you still mind if I joined back into the rp or would you rather finish it yourselves? I completely understand if you’d rather carry on without me.

 

If not, here’s what could have happened…my character is rather unsocial atm anyway, maybe she just stole away to a different part of the library, and could maybe find another resource to help with the research project?

If you still want to, I’m keen on a rp… I haven’t played my novice out much yet. Basically she has social problems, i.e. she’s keeping outta other’s way because she had a bit trauma, in the past, lived in the wild so has become of a bit of a deer in behavious (shunning social contact), and grovels in self-pity which she needs to accept is ridiculous really.

Plus, she is a wilder/has a block, but I haven’t rp’d the finding out of said block with anyone yet (I missed the saidin class too). So I still consider her to be quite ‘new’ at this stage, as in, whatever RPs I will do with her next will be not long after she came to the Tower (because Aes Sedai would find out something like the block soon I bet).

 

Are you interested in any RPing about one of these things maybe?

Hey Nya, I definitely need someone to RP with, and my character hasn't really done anything yet so I'm keen to do pretty much anything, but an idea has come upon me-maybe teh aes sedai find out about your block and force you to get a roommate or socialise in some other way with my character in the hopes that forcing you to socialise will help get rid of it. I dunno, just an idea, any others are welcome.

I did have a roommate, Seleevan is kinda active...but we've only RP'ed once before, for a prank. I dunno how many roommates one can have? If more than one is allowed, I'd sure like to RP with you and explore that idea further! :D

Here's a proposal:

 

Again, with Aes Sedai finding out that Nyanna has a block...they could assign Ay'Lira to help break it. It could count as your Novice Life rp, or even Take a Class, and it can count as Transitions for me.

 

I'll have to get it approved first, though. :P

Oooo good idea! When I submitted my wilder's form, I had to mention how the block will be broken, when she finds out/is told that she didn't accidentally kill her parents, but it was darkfriends really...maybe we can work around that? Or maybe even change it, dunno if that's allowed. Because I'd have to find a way to get that info found out/told by an Aes Sedai. I never really thought about that when writing my bio >.<

Well, I could always involve my Leala (my White) in some way. People use their Aes Sedai to help Aspies in their reqs.

 

So, I'm thinking it could go something like this:

 

Ay'Lira meets with Nyanna and works with her for a few posts, and starts to look for answers with her about what's causing the block.

 

They run into Leala (most likely in the Library). She does her own research while they do their thing, asking around, maybe even asks Valeri along with NPC Aes Sedai, and comes back to say that Nyanna didn't kill her parents.

 

Sorry, I just realized that last bit would be far too complicated to flesh out. Here's a better one.

 

After they run into Leala, she off-handedly mentions that Nyanna is the novice whose parents were killed by the Darkfriends, probably relating it Ay'Lira having gone through the fall of Malkier (I had to get permission for my app, too. ;P), and she walks off to do other things. The girls set back to work and find that Nyanna's block is broken now.

Yeah, that sounds pretty cool! :) But, how would Leala Sedai know that it was the Darkfriends…. >.<

 

I think it’d be pretty cool to combine the opening sequence for this RP with my disgraceful disappearance in that history project thread. Particularly because I’ve already written up stuff for that lol.

 

What do you think if we started it like this–

 

Nyanna is in the library or stables (whatever, she likes those places) and has guilteh feelings about leaving the two with the history project (a week after?) Let’s say she got sent to the MoN for that, but still she wants to apologize herself, and goes to the new Accepted Ay’Lira to do that. Who then reveals that she’s been assigned (or offers) to help with the block.

 

So, as you said, they work on the lock together, but in vain. Nyanna has difficulties/is too stubborn about talking about her past. But she’ll say outright that she doesn’t want to/fears using the power. (She often mentions wanting to have the power suppressed, have it controlled). Maybe after a lot of badgering she lets slip that she thinks she’s killed her parents?

 

After which they run into Leala Sedai. (haha, would you be ok with it that Nyanna flees off into the library and slapbang into your Aes Sedai? )

I like the idea of relating it to Ay’Lira’s experience of the Fall of Malkier. There’s still the problem of making sense of how Leala knows about it being the Darkfriends who murdered Nyanna’s parents. (Random suggestions: Cool truth-seeking angreal? Knowing-someone-who-knows-someone-who-heard-of-someone-who-knows-about-strange-occurrence-in-a-remote-Andoran-village? Lol)

 

Nyanna crumbles in relief, forgives self, very dramatic blahblahblah, accepts the power within her, poof goes the block, Ay’Lira encourages her to try again with teh channeling and Robert’syouruncleFanny’syouraunt we have an unblocked novice who haz embraced her destiny TA-DAAAAAA!

 

What do you think, would it work that way?

 

Sorry for going into all that detail lol, it doesn’t have to be like that exactly. I just like planning my RPs quite carefully after a recent one where we kinda lost track of the intended storyline lol!

Also, I reckon that your idea for someone who knows someone who knows someone could easily be my char, cause she hears everything at her inn, or at least she did before she left-she oculd have easily heard the real story from some guard or something.

And, no, I don't mind if Nyanna literally runs into Leala. lol That oughta be funny. :)

 

And BB...hmmmm...does your character have a block? Or trouble embracing saidar? They might just be lumped together if she needs remediation. And don't forget to post your req thread here.
