It was...interesting. No Mistborns. And Feruchemy is now like Mistings with people only having one of the powers if at all. This results in a lot of new names....

Lol that does mean a lot more new characters, but makes sense based on the very limited amount of Mistborn left and 300 years of time passing the 'Mistborn Gene' out of existence.
