This topic made me imagine the BIG BAD DARK ONE VOICE having Dalek-style intonations. Best thought I had all day.

 

On-topic, does the Doctor have his Sonic Screwdriver? If so, it probably has an anti-pattern/ta'veren mode built into it. One good old spot of reversing the polarity of the neutron flow and the Doctor takes an easy victory.
