:D Hello, my name is ronoc/booms! ye can call me either, it was too hard to decide on a name! well i'm a little over whelmed. this site is so cool and i'm not great with computers! if anyone has any advice i'd be really glad to receive it. i'm not the biggest WOT fan in the world but i have forced all my friends to read them! i'm rereading them for the first time and i'm on the LoC. i hope to be an active member of this community and i hope i'll get to know fellow WOT fans. so, may the Light illuminate you all and may you shelter in the palm of the Creator's hand! :D p.s. i am notorious for typos, so beware!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

*eyes up the recruit*

You look like perfect fresh meat, sorry, perfect type to be put through their paces in the Band of the Red Hand! If you love travel, music and fun, you will fit right in with us! Just head on over and sign up in the Raw Recruit thread to experience life in the greatest fighting machine in Randland!!

Also, do check the other ORGs to see where you fit in best, but a tankard of the DM famous Battle Brew awaits you at the Band!

Maybe you want to join the darkside and do some RPing (Role Playing). Just scroll down to the bottom of this site and check that out! Or maybe you just want to add your own ideas to serious discussions on the books! Then just head on over to those boards at the top of the site! Just watch out for Egwene (or Eggy! ) and her crusade about the Asmodean thread...

Welcome to DM, and I hope you enjoy your time here like all those already here do!

Nooooooo.... CORKI!!! You stole my thunder!!!

Hi Booms, (I like the sound of that better than ronoc) welcome to DM!!

Saw in one of the threads that you're from Tralee. Got some fond memories of the west coast of Ireland. Spend a holiday there once... rain was coming in sideways and all the camping places were flooded! Other than that it was fab. And if my holiday was anything to go by, you must be a very nice person!!

And thanks to Corki you already know that there is a fabulous thread on the book discussion board. However he didn't mention that you can vote on lot's of polls... and it's free...

Geez, give it a rest Eggy! :D I am one of those people who have gone to the dark side and am a RPer (which is much better than the ORGs) lol jk, jk, please don't kill me. :D And Corki, Eggy is not the only one obsessed with advertisment. You should go look through the New Folks board, you have told just about every new person to join the Raw Recruit program. :D do you konw taht the hmuan mnid is so wreid taht if you spmily get the fsrit and lsat ltetrs in the rgiht odrer, taht msot ppeloe wlil be albe to udrenantsd waht you are tiynrg to say!

If you didn't get that, TOO BAD! HAHAHAHAHA!

Dun worry, we won't bite. :D :) :? :( ok, fine we do bite, but not hard.

not that much snow. and i can't imagin trying to ski in the slieve mish! dingle, i remember spending an hour in the pouring rain waiting for a boat to see fungi! and when we got out the bloody dolphin was no where in sight!!! :x there's now a big debate whether it should stay dingle, or if it should be changed to its irish name, silly if you ask me. my irish name is conchuir (pronounced; cru-whoor) it means "lover of hounds". the funny thing is, i'm scared of dogs!

Hmmm... I think I stick with Booms. A lot easier to pronnounce!

Ok.. having done the weather... what now? Irish music??

Irish Music? now there's something pointless! 80000 beats per minute and micheal flattly bouncing around a stage at 50mph! his feet moving to make up for the lack of movement in his arms, and head. unfortunatly its one of the problems with being irish, people presume you can riverdance, speak irish, and are drunk all the time. and they expect you to do all three at the same time! to most kerry men if you asked them to riverdance they'd start jumping into a pond!

lol... just imagining the scene!!

I was thinking more along the lines of songs. I do like folk music. One of my favourite singers is Mary Black.
