Super Spontaneous Adventure Picnic!

[Talmanes]

Talmanes prances skips stumbles insanely through a Tainted meadow, beginning the trip through the trippy landscape on his own, yet watching around for other BT-ites and a certain Settler in particular.

Charis had thought she was used to the oddities of the Black Tower at this point.

 

 

She was wrong.

 

 

She was not prepared for Purple fog to come rolling in like the tide while she was out and about on the Tower Grounds. It didn't take long, and she was totally lost, lugging the oversize pic-a-nic basket.

[Talmanes]

Talmanes sensed a familiar presence nearby and smiled, with only a touch of insanity gleaming in his eyes. Without a word he dashed off through the mist arcing around to come up directly behind the one he had been seeking. Smiling again he touched her shoulder.

Charis was completely and utterly befuddled.

 

Purple was a completely unnatural color for fog.

 

So confused was she, in fact, that when she was gently tapped on the shoulder, she jumped about a foot in the air before realizing that there was no monster behind her, and that she knew the mind on the other end of that hand.

 

She smiled in relief, and took his hand in hers

[Talmanes]

Talmanes smiled warmly, then knowing that words were not necessary, dashed off again, leading her behind him.

Soon they left the main grounds, going out to further distances, unnavigable to the average wanderer.

Talmanes however had explored these depths many a time, and knew exactly where he was going.

 

Finally reaching their destination, he stopped, embracing the source, and began to weave fire.

Slowly a place in the midst of the fog began to clear, making the perfect place for a picnic, fully visible.

 

 

He then lead his beloved to a nice grassy area where he bid her to sit, setting the picnic basket between them.

 

 

Shall we? He said simply, grinning.

Charis knew that light in her love's eyes. He was up to something. Or was it the taint? Either way, she was willing to see what it was he was up to. Bemused, she watched him take off, and then followed, keeping him in sight, as well as close enough to follow through their bond. When they arrived, she gasped. How on Earth had he found such a marvelous spot. Catching her breath, and smiling again, she sat,and smiled up at him, saying simply,

 

yes, please

[Talmanes]

Talmanes began to remove items from the basket, setting them out on the blanket that somehow appeared, even though it was never mentioned.

Brabbing some sandwiches and some Tainted(ly delicious) Tea he heated them with small threads of air.

 

Suddenly, however, the peace was startled when a ferocious monster popped up a few yards away, dead set on stealing there picnic basket.

 

Talmanes leaped into action, putting himself between the creature and Charis, drawing on the power as a weapon to fight it.

Charis watched, a mix of pride and horror on her face, as he expertly fought and defeated the dastardly picnic basket stealing monster.

 

Of course, it helped that the creature made off with the sandwhiches.

[Talmanes]

Talmanes glared at the creature with satisfaction, as it fled. But alas, it had gotten away with the sandwiches!

Never fear, for I brought back ups!

Talmanes pulls out a chest,

Now at last, I believe we can enjoy this picnic in peace.

or in Peace, even!

 

Charis began to dig through the chest, before finally deciding there was a tiny sandwhich making factory in the bottom of it. Watching her Tal out of the corner of her eye, sure that he had something else up his sleeve, she nibbled on a sandwich.

[Talmanes]

(beat you by like 20 seconds )

Talmanes lay there on the grass, just simply enjoying his most wonderful company.

Soon the world began to dim, shimmering as the sun slowly set...

With dusk quickly approaching Talmanes leaped to his feet, taking her hand, with the words,

Time to go!

before whisking her away once again.

Almost asleep as dusk began to creep in, Charis was whisked to her feet and half dragged through the trees to the Light only knew where. Clutching Tal's hand, she had no choice but to follow to see where he thought they were headed next...

[Talmanes]

Seeing how sleepy his Charis was getting, Talmanes scooped her into his arms continuing back toward the Black Tower grounds.

Reaching the main structure, and checking around, he found it deserted.

Fantastic! He said quietly, with a Northern British accent.

He then made his way to the tallest point around and carefully set her down, as she had dozed in his arms. As she touch the floor of the balcony they now resided in, she awoke.

 

Smile flashing in the dark, Talmanes sat down next to her, gazing with her up into the stars.

Charis woke up, and looked around, orienting herself again. Somehow, they had made it back to the Tower, although she didn't really recall that happening. She curled up next to her Tal, and watched the sky

At last, felling the time was right, Talmanes looked over, gazing into Charis' eyes, and spoke

For quite a time now my love, you've slowly been affected as we all are by the insanity that dwells here, but the words I speak now, are clear and completely unaffected by any outside forces, I bid you, to become one with the Taintyness, to join me in a bond of Taintsanity forevermore. Under the witnesses of the Black Tower, I do now swear to protect you, be there for you, and of course entertain you, in bondedness as long as I shall live, and thereafter in death.

[charis sedai]

Charis sat bolt up-right, as wide awake now as she would be in the middle of the day. She smiled as he came to the end of his speech and took his hand in hers one more. Taking a moment to gather scattered thoughts, she spoke

There is nothing I would like more this night than to bond you once again, my love, no matter the level of sanity in both of our lives. I do now swear to listen to you, be honest with you, and be properly entertained, as long as I shall live, and then forever more in the Afterlife.

[Talmanes]

Talmanes smiled, still lost in her eyes, then leaned in with a deep kiss, weaving, and completing the process.

When Charis came back to her senses, there was a ...difference... in the ball of emotions that Tal was in her head. But it was a good difference, and she leaned back against him, content for now to sit right there under the sky with him until she fell asleep

Talmanes sat with her, feeling her emotions in the back of his head stronger than before, and left out a surprise for her, for when she woke, before drifting off to sleep along with her, peacefully.

*smiling slightly from her hidden path where she had accidentally come across the wonderful pair she turned around humming to herself, happy that indeed January 19th was a special day for every one. Making her way back to her own Asha'man and love, she giggled out loud before finishing her celebration for the day*

Lol better late than never, and thanks, something original and spontaneous was what I was going for, after the first post, it all just played out on it's own.
