Basically there's a school acapella group called Simply Blue and she's in charge, they go on tours and whatnot. So they went to Grahamstown (Ummmm South East South Africa, on the coastline) and the boys (who was our head-of-house) bought a hamster on the trip that they named after her (Marion). Our maths teacher took the hamster of the boys because living things and Mallett House just don't have fun together.

and now the hamster lived in her class

We wrote our Afrikaans exam in here class and just as we were about to begin Marion got on her hamster wheel and just went for it. So our teacher had to put it somewhere else or the squeaking would distract us.

The first thought was just put it outside the class but there were two responses to that:

1. The hamster will escape (somehow)

2. Maybe there'll be a predator Ma'am (I cannot correctly convey the voice this was said in)

Then our teacher thought to put it in another maths teachers class but we told her it would suffocate because that teacher is a pretty heavy smoker and his classroom smells quite strongly of it (he does handroll his own cigarettes though (with one hand), which looks pretty frikkin' awesome)

Finally she put it in a neighbouring bio teacher's class which still had its risks (dissections)

My cousin lost one of her teeny tiny hamsters

the teacher who is in charge of debating has a corn snake

it has grown quite large

I've seen it kill a mouse, very fast

If you're wearing perfume it will climb up the glass side of the container towards you (one of our debating coaches got quite a few surprises this way)
