The only real difference in the weather today was that the sun was shining all day. It wasn't that much warmer (although it was 50-52 all day, so it hasn't been cold anyway).

Well, we know she was there at least a little bit, because she did update her FB status at about 1 PM and has a new layout and stuff (it's really obnoxious, actually)...

he's a magician.

 

and he's a really good "wife" in a platonic sense. he makes the camp, and the hearth, and dave hunts and secures. and they trade rolls when necessary. and have argunments and disagree and work it out and this is what i mean when i say its the best marriage on TV. they know how to utilize everyones strength and weakness and get mad and get over it and make the best of everything.

 

and kill stuff and make fire and cook it and stay warm and dry when they sleep.

Well, Cat got home from her outing maybe an hour ago, and apparently Zeb had given her a ride home...and her eyes are red... XD

Now, I dunno how likely it is that he just happened to give her a ride home from the library, because Cat goes to school about half an hour away, and MOST of the kids there also live that far away, so MAYBE Zeb is one of the few (like her) who live in our town or nearby, so in that case it would be conceivable that he just happened to be in town and she called him with the library phone and he said he could drive her home...

yep, cody is a fine gatherer and scavenger, and he knows him his deserts.

 

and he can make shoes out of old tires.

 

and purify water from a washed up bottle of almost no clorox.

 

and knows to point the neck of the water bottle downstream so you don't get all the garbage in it.

 

i love the way they rip apart cars for survival stuff.

So myself and the next oldest haven't really ever given my parents trouble like this...I mean, we were both overdramatic brats and were very disrespectful, but we never did the sneaking out thing, or lying about our whereabouts...

The next one has been a poster child for troubled/troublesome kid, but at least he was and usually is honest. I mean, he'd come home and tell Mom "Yeah, I smoked weed last night" or "I didn't come home because I was drunk and passed out" or "Well, he gave me the drug, so I smoked it!"

 

I mean, he wouldn't tell her things beforehand, although he does now. But he did cause a lot of grief for my parents. XD
