my sister was apparently required to show up at her mother in laws apartment with her husband in pajamas, as is their christmas morning tradition for everyone and it sounds demeaning and humilating and from what mom says that's how my sister sees it too but... this is what you do for family i guess.

 

so it was good to hear it and know that there are a couple of advantages of being exiled.
