So I've been having interesting thoughts about Facebook today...

 

such as?

I've been thinking about how amusing it is that it is such...hmm...such a huge part of society. Like, with the whole relationship status thing.

Exactly!! And I know how silly that is, logically, but...I find myself falling prey to that line of thinking. Especially today. >.>

Shows that the relationship is real enough to stand up to your peers and say "I am in this relationship with this person!"

Hmm, I hadn't thought about it that way. I guess I have this image stuck in my head of people refusing to acknowledge relationship changes unless they're facebook-official...it's like... what if the internet is down? Does that mean we're not broken up?

 

But my issue at the moment is I'm not sure changing my status would be...pointful? >.>
