Agree with you regarding Aviendha's attitude. That's probably a BIG part of what made me feel RJ was trying to sell us the Rand/El relationship as genuine and profound.

I think Avi' and Elayne's friendship is probably more unbelievable than Rand and Elayne's relationship. It makes absolutely no sense and the whole sister-adoption scene was quite.. disgusting .
