Perrin and Mat's food don't rot

I was toying with the idea that Rand finally became Super-Rand when he accepted himself. ToM was all about Perrin learning to accept himself and became Super-Perrin at the end, once he forged his hammer. I don't know if Mat will ever grow up, but I think he's almost achieved Super-Mat status.

What I'm getting at is that all our heroes are finally powering-up before the final push to finish the story, and I wonder whether accepting themselves and their roles as part of the Creator's will enhances that "Light" effect (or perhaps anti-Dark would be more appropriate). All the three boys have grown up a lot over the books, and their ta'veren effects have only become stronger for it... maybe it's the same for this anti-Dark thing that Rand has going.

The more in-tune they are to what the Pattern wants, the more it'll work for them.

Just a thought.

Oh, I think we'll see Super Mat soon enough...a one-eyed god of battle, no less. Now that Mat no longer has both of his eyes to rely on, his luck will take over even more strongly when he's fighting. As for growing up...well, I don't think he'll ever outgrow the prankster, but I suppose that embracing his memories could count. Not that he can always keep them straight anyway...

Taveren effect is not same as Light effect.
