Audio Books

I wonder if there are other members that listen to the WOT audio books. I have read the print versions and really loved the books. Now I have listened to the audio books and gained a whole new level of appreciation. Tell me what you think. I think we need to promote these books in audio format.

I have read the books several times, but by listening to them I have been able to catch so many of the intricate plot twists and foreshadowing. I read too fast for my own good and often missed the subtleties.

The audio format also allows you to "read" your favorite books while driving, running/exercising, or just doing work/chores.

I have all the books on MP3 now and listen to them all the time.

I have 9 of the 11 books on audio. As far as I have been able to determine books 7 & 8 are unavailible. If you have 7 & 8 can you tell me where you got them? :? Though I have read all the books, I have not listened to 9,10,&11 because of the missing two books. I would really like to find them(preferably in an unabridged CD format), if possible)and continue the saga. :!:

thank you. I have just preordered it and have a smile on my face. I agree that the level of emersion in the story is much greater with the spoken word. Now I know this is off subject for this forum, but the the Harry Potter series was just some books to read with my kids until I heard the audio version. The books just came to life as did the Jordan books

It's two readers, one man does all the male pov's and does different voices for all the characters to the best of his ability, and he's very good. Then there's a women you does all the female pov's and different voices for all the characters. Both are good, and entertaining.

I have listened to all 11+new spring on my iPod. I work in a job where I can listen to it at work all day. It is the most amazing thing. The voice over is great, and the depth is amazing. I would not recommend listening before you read though. It is hard to follow the names of all the people unless you are already familiar with them a bit. Good as a refresher, and also instead of re-reads.
