Goodnight Story - Wheel of Time

So, Hello :D

 

Ive kinda been doing this on and off for about two years, sometime it was quite a stretch of time inbetween, but lately its been a rather common thing while trying to sleep. That is, listening to a chapter of Wheel of time each night, in bed while trying to sleep. Sometimes, u dont even end up hearing the whole chapter, other times u do and then fall to sleep.

 

Anyhow, i thought if there is anyone else who does this, or just likes relistening to chapters, could give suggestions. It could be something like a thread where u say each day what chapter u are gonna listen to, or give suggestions. Some people likes to read the book instead, or arent able to play the audio books near the bed, but that works aswell, just reading :)

Why i'd personally would like suggestions, is because i tend to always relisten to tuon and mat chapters, or the cleansing chapter, or the verin prolouge where she is putting compulsion on AS, to name a few. Ive gotten stuck abit, and when u are ready to sleep and just look through all the chapter titles u tend to be abit unsure which to choose.

 

 

 

So if anyone would enjoy giving or recieving chapter suggestions for bedtime stories, post in this thread. If noone would even think about rereading or relistening to a certain part of WOT before bedtime, then dont post and let the thread fall down into balefire.

 

 

 

Just to make it clear, 1 chapter is enough, or say two if its short ones(if we are talking audio books, less than 25 min would be a short one), and it helps alot if you say what book its in and the chapter name.

 

 

My tip that i can think of right now that i didnt name above would be

I used to always read before bed, but then when I read an entire book each night for two nights running (although my mind was quite screwed up at the time with loss), I realised that probably wasn't the best plan. So now I listen to audiobooks at bed. I usually manage to listen to 2 or 3 chapters of WoT before falling asleep.

 

The one slightly annoying thing is trying to find where I fell asleep at. So I usually end up relistening to a scene or two from the night before a fresh each night.

 

Currently I'm on CoT Ch 15. I'll probably fall asleep at Chapter 17ish.

 

Anyway it's 3am and I really should get to bed.

cool, since u seem to like especially things connecting AS i can recommend maybe relistening to the meeting between moraine and cadsuane, who knows they might meet in TOM? :) Would be pretty intruiging if cadsuane becomes Rands adviser once more in TOM after the last chapter in TGS, that is who knows if he blames her for him almost killing tam, but maybe she will be Rands adviser once more when Rand and Moraine meets once more.

Cant really place NS:p but its short and there are tidbits that are nice, its not that good rereading material always though.

The elayne chapters were good enough to read, but no favourites :p tho some of it is kinda cool.

 

Gonna check that crown of sword chapter out, chapter 38 it seems. Got no other tips atm.
