The nominees in major categories for the 2010 Emmy Awards were announced Thursday by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, below is a shortlist of the major categories.

 

Overall Fox's "Glee" dominated the list of regular series with 19 nominations followed by "Mad Men" with 17 nominations, "30 Rock" with 15 nominations and "Modern Family" with 14 nominations.
