Without a mod certified coroner's report it would be too easy for the mafia to claim the role and run with it. If anyone claims, we'll have to take whatever they say with a grain of salt. Let's just use our heads more than gut instict to try and catch the bad guys here. [/rant]

Actually Ed, I believe you - in fact I have seen you hammer yourself before, and on a day one.

 

We can call it a philosophical difference that I think a townie should be working for the town right until the bitter end, and you do not. It just takes one un-vote at the 11th hour, which we've all seen - for an innocent lynch to be averted and a townsperson saved, which preserves numbers for endgame.

 

I think you're just going to continue nagging at this though because really, you just wanted to target the person who did the hammer, which is a little old and tired, and an easy mafia trick. Come up with something more creative and then we'll talk - I don't think you will be able to though, so you'll just keep using this. I seldom see you this focused on something.

And no...it doesn't preserve numbers if, as most mods do, there was a random modkill, and it is a lot higher possiblitity a Townie dies.

Aemon, if he's going to obsess on this, there's not much anyone can do about it. It will prove a big distraction though, which means:

 

1. He's purposely trying to create chaos because he's scum using a cliche tactic

 

or

 

2. He's going over-exuberant on the first day/night and it's going to be to the town's detriment, and maybe his too.

 

 

Now, I'm a big fan of Ed, but I really have see him go hog-wild on the first day on a few occasions, and I haven't ever seen it work well for him.

 

Sometimes big distractions present a couple of good opportunities for the town though, so I'm curious to see where he goes with this tomorrow, and who tries to exploit it.

See...I gave ample opportunity to let it drop...but you want to struggle.

1. Trust me. Just trust me! when I say...I have way better distractions. :P

2. I am just honing in on you for now...as you are to me.

I have and am perfectly fine with dropping something once I have a feeling it is not scummy anymore.

3. I rarely latch on someone  day 1 and stay...but when I do, it is usually sucessful. (Talya in scooby doo, Aemon in Lost are the two recent ones. :P)

 

4. I watch for exactly the same things. Lia tried to bring up my suspicions at endgame, and if MCS had been there, we would have won. I don't blindly follow one train of thought. I follow it, and watch...get reactions....

 

You sir at the moment...are the most scummy.

 

If you are town, the mafia might NK me or you to lynch the other. or they might not...doesn't mean you are scum...but doesn't mean you are off the hook.
