Limerick Time - St Patrick's Day Fun!!!

Yes this is for points.

 

It's easy you have to write a Limerick. But it has to be about someone in the BT.

 

Of course Limericks have to follow a formula...

 

Like so:

 

There was a young man called Ed

Who had a very large head

He went through a door

and his head was no more

And the doc sent him straight to bed

 

so it goes 7 sounds, then 7, 5, 5, then 7 again. lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyme and lines 3 and 4 rhyme.

 

5 points a limerick.

 

The funnier the better. Maybe at the end we will have a comp for the best ones... ;)

Talya is the tainted head

No finer was ever said

She had Ed to train,

A beautiful name,

Ed to the lions she fed

Beautiful as the new dawn

She has won the hearts

Played all the right parts

Ed has a knack for trouble

Doing those push-ups double

How sad would I be

If he had left me

But boy, that man is trouble!

But only uses her lip

To hand out deep burns,

Most of them are earned

But who cares, look at those hips!

She had great skills with a peach

Makin' us happy

Not being sappy

Too bad she is out of reach.

And it's my duty to tell

That she ate a sock

And fell off a rock

Now she's casting a spell.

Ed is a good tainted lad

Despite being a bit bad

Eats chalk in his sleep

An amusing creep

If only his name was Chad.

a drink you must buy

he's never been shy

His story is never of Fail

 

Meesh is a squirrel of means

A sith of renown in her teens

she is such a girl

Who sends Eebs in a twirl

But leaves you as happpy as beans

I've only done limericks once before, so it takes me several minutes just to come up with one that is passable. :D 

 

Say you met someone named Pete

And you looked upon his feet

Would you eat a plumb

Or chew on some gum

'Cause he really is quite neat.

He is very odd

He eats grass turf sod

I'm glad i dont get fainty

In the Black Tower, there is a Frog

Who resides in very thick smog

It swallowed a bug

And washed out the rug

Now he goes by the name of Blig Blog.

Once there was a spammer called DSage

And his posts were all the rage

But he kicked a lamp

And slid down a ramp

And ended up on the wrong page.
