Hello!

 

I have been a long time reader of WoT, started the first book back in 1993. The latest book rekindled my interest in the series. I loved how the book moved events along, and the portrayal of Rand in particular was fantastic!

 

I am now hooked on the series again after so long, and eagerly awaiting the next book!

 

Some weeks ago I found some time to paint a picture of Rand, inspired by reading TGS. It was only months after reading the book that I managed to find time to paint it... anyways, I'd like to share it with the community :)

Hi there, welcome to the boards! I'm also a new member and long time reader. I've been reading the series since 1998 and I definitely agree that TGS was really powerfully done, especially with Rand. Amazing painting too! It's very well done, I'm an aspiring painter so I hope some day I can paint as well as that honestly! It really captures the mood of Rand in the book. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing and hope you enjoy your stay here =)

I have to say, that is a beautiful painting! I wish I could draw a good stick figure of Rand...that is awesome!
