Greetings fellow travelers, long time fan and new DM recruit here.  I have been and avid fan of the series since my brother accidently picked up "The Great Hunt" first, while we were at the Pittsburg airport in 1991.  I also liked the Robert Jordan Conan stories, but still prefer the RE Howrds, though Jordans stories were way better than deCamps.

I have two sons named....Perrin and Gareth(yes my wife loves me)although I did meet another guy in my college class who had also named his son Perrin(his wife must have loved him too).  I have been using the symbiology(sp) of the novels as the basis for growing repitiore of tattoo's.  2 dragon 3/4 sleeves and mixing the zodiac/yin and yang/ancient Aes Sedai symbol(2 koi fish in the yin and yang/pisces formation).  The wildest thing about choosing those names(besides that they are totally kick ass) is that they both have bull representations in their respective mythos, that I was completely unaware of when choosing them.

Just wanted to say I see you all and may you all find shade and water.

Not quite the images described in the books, but my own interpratation, the orbs in the claws are each of my sons birth stones.  I will also be adding a Tauren, from World of Warcraft, to represent both young bull and the bull with the rose necklace form the mythos of Perrin and Gareth.

Unfortunately, tattoes do nothing for me. But welcome to DM anyway!

Have a good look around the boards, and don't hesitate to post in this thread should you get lost and confused in the large world that is DM!

Welcome to our halls, doubledragon. Those are some AWESOME tats man. Why don't you swing through the orgs and start posting anywhere the fancy strikes you? We're all a bit twisted, but in a GOOD way.
