Hey everone in DM I'm new here so I thought I would say 'hello'.

 

My name is Mark I'm a carpenter and when I'm not busy looking for a new fantasy book to read I write music or play video games.  I live in a small college town in Nor Cal and love it. A place where the trees are taller than the buildings. I hate hollywood and love movies, as well as hating cable television and loving TV shows on DVD.  (If you've seen Clerks it's like hating people and loving gatherings)

 

Anyway, I'm always interested in finding a new fantasy series, so if anyone has any suggestions I would love them.  I LOVE the entire WoT series.  I enjoyed the first five or so books of the Sword of truth. (hated the rest) I loved the Mistborn trilogy and Elantris, though I didn't care for Warbreaker as much.  I made a deal with my Ex to read the dresden files if she reads WoT.  I finished the first and it was okay... anyway that is a basic idea of my tastes so if anyone knows of something along those lines that is good reading let me know!
