Yeah, I was about to quote this for you, Rose. :)

You don't like snakes, Talya?  I love them, they're so slithery and cool.  I want one...  But my parents are on your side, unfortunately. :D

That turtle is freaking weird, by the way, Jeran. :D

*runs her hand along the tail and shudders*  It's so... scaly.

Well, I might as well try a marble.  I don't know what the point is, but.... *pops a turtle marble in her mouth*

WHOA!  CHOCOLATE DELICIOUSNESS!

I need to breed one of these at home...somehow....

Hahaha that turtle picture looks like one of the ones I had for a while as a kid. "Baby" was a 10 pound alligator snapping turtle the size of a dinner plate. She could crunch through a good sized stick (or a kid's arm!) with that mouth. We found her in the garage and kept her in the back of an old truck out at the end of the field until my parents found out and made us let her go. Good times. Now if only I'd known they make chocolate, I could have convinced my mom to let us keep her! Surely the chocolate would have been worth a few missing limbs.

Thorum--the chocolate counts you're giving now...are those totals, or new ones given? (I just want to be sure I'm counting mine right)

Posted

I think he said somewhere that he's only doing new ones given, now.

We all have to keep our own totals.

Which I should go do now... I've been far too lazy. :D

Anyway, that's a cute story about your "pet" turtle.  I've only seen a few big snapping turtles at E.B. Lyon's or Swiss Valley Park near Dubuque, IA.  At least I think that's where I saw them. :D

It's funny how those turtles even LOOK mean... but they're obviously very SWEET, what with the chocolate-making and all.

*stumbles and crashes into a table with a turtle on it*

*takes off running the other way as the turtle starts snapping at her*

Haha, Hybrid, you're a hoot.

:P

I say we lynch Lia, on the basis of her overreaction to being voted twice. O.o

And because I think the bandwagon on Rose is unfair and unbased. ;)

I was thinking, which is never a good thing. No matter who we lynch it is a benefit to everyone's agenda except the person we lynch. In thus I can see a tumultuous game of shaky alliances and false promises. This is going to be more enjoyable than expected.

Made me laugh. :D

As to your other points, I agree.  It seems as though this game is more "every man for himself" (and every woman for herself :P), which is so different from most Mafia games, in my experience (which, admittedly, is not much).

I think Thorum should give you lots of points just for your second-to-last sentence, myself.  Beautifully stated. :P

So, our problem is just agreeing on who, when lynched, would benefit everyone else the MOST. :D  At least at this point.

Totally agreed Meesh.

I also agree that I should receive extra candies. *Crosses fingers*

It is just who would benefit the most of us now...

At least I am consistent.

I'm ok with moving my vote to Lia if it will help us get a lynch.

It won't.  Keep your vote on mnwhiterose and all will be well.

This is going to be more enjoyable than expected.

Especially if we lynch mnwhiterose.  Less enjoyable for her, sure, but some sacrifices must be made for my greater good.  No hard feelings, it's not personal, etc etc.

It's mnwhiterose, of course.  It would benefit me the most, at least, so why not?

I think I am the only one who hasn't enjoyd the turtle marbles

Well my friends there is a reason for that.

****FLASHBACK****

Once upon a time when I was a little hispanic girl living in the foot hills of west virginia I saw something...

That something was a turtle. It had skin of leather that was the color of milk chocolate. Its shell was darker and horned, it looked like a big dark chocolate delight. I was starving and decided to try and sample this chocolate morsel. When low and behold while I was trying to sneak around to its rear I heard something crunch. I had stepped on one of the turtles precious marbles. With a snarl it started to chase me. My tears streamed in the wind as I tried to outrun the turtle. Those 6.8 seconds were the longest in my life.

****REAL TIME****

Ever since then I have developed a phobia for turtle marbles

Hybrid:

You sound like you know something about Rose that would make her ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS to you.

Care to share, care-share-bear?

DSworn:

You poor hispanic girl.  You should get counseling.

Now I am suspicious of Hybrid, but that makes no sense because he is guaranteed not to be mafia.

His wanting mn dead though makes me want her alive. What is inspiring this vendetta?

Oh perdon, meesh, yo soy es muy mal en mi cabesa?

Dios Mia

Yes my spanish is bad, I haven't looked at it in a year and a half. I mad it all the way to spanish three ib and got an A in the class. It is just that if I don't practice something it just leaves me.

Back to the game.

The hours are waning down, and another no lynch is apparent.

*Twiddles thumbs*

I finished Spanish 4, and my mom, who is not Hispanic, was raised in Southern California, with a Hispanic Step-dad and many Hispanic friends.  She ensures that my spanish is at least alive, if not healthy. :P

Y yo creo que el espanol es una lengua muy hermosa.

I wish more people would be online right now, and give their perspective on things.

Until then we are racking up the chocolates.

Meesh I extend to you an olive branch. I want you to be my first shaky alliance.  ;)

*Whistles jeopardy tune*

Also anyone have anymore reasons for who and why I should switch my vote. Other then the encroaching deadline?

Posted

This game will never get anywhere without a lynch (barring the unknown effects of the Golden Ticket).

On the other hand (or is it the same hand?) the fewer people in the game the better chance you have at a Golden Ticket.

Either way a lynch is in most people's best interest.  Please consider looking at the vote tally and act accordingly.

Posted

YOU NEED TO VOTE FOR LIA, DSWORN!  Oh, wait.... nevermind. :-[ :D

*snatches the olive branch*

*nibbles it a bit*

Well, not as tasty as the Turtle Marbles, but it'll suffice.

First Shaky Alliance formed as of August 17th, 2009.

*wonders what the "Alliance Broken" date will be*

*shakes a bit*

Oooooo.....SSSSHHHHAky.

Posted

Jeran, you have a good point, but people might change their minds.

So, you make sense, but I don't agree with the lynch you want.

I don't know meesh but don't be infirm on your end.

Muahahaha, I used a pun. *Points above*

So Meesh who should we get to vote on our side?

Posted

Keeping in mind, assuming I remember the deadline correctly, that it comes early to very early in the morning for most people.  If the North Americans in the crowd don't make up their mind tonight there will be yet another no lynch.

Posted

Well, it's at about 6 AM CST, roughly, so it is early.

But I know a lot of people don't do "conventional" when it comes to DM.

But if not everyone's online, Jeran, how do you think you're going to get a lynch anyway?

Pete, I am looking it over now.  And I am NOT infirm, nitwit.  I think Spirit should vote with us. *nods*

Rosie already is....
