2 Questions- neither I'm sure about which I have the answer

And I had to do some serious restructuring to get that topic grammatically correct.

Anyway, Point the first.

At the end of (either PoD or) WH, Tuon asks Mat for a favor, and Mat replies that he'll have to think about it. The narrative then goes on to say that he thought about it all that day, and into the next night, but he knew that he would have to say yes. He didn't have a choice. He returns to Tuon, tells her yes, and the dice stop in his head. There, the Mat scenes in that particular book end, and in the following book, no mention is made of it, and I couldn't tell what, exactly, it was that Tuon had requested. Please enlighten me?

Point the Second.

I'm only about halfway through KoD, having read it only once when it first came out, and I had completely forgotten about the two scenes (one with Perrin, one with Faile), but what's the deal with the Rippling, that feels like the whole world is about to break up into mist, and everyone with it? Faile feels it in "Something... strange" and Perrin feels it later on, IIRC, which I might not entirely do, but no one else does. So, what is it, and why is it only in the Malden-Perrin-Faile area of the World?

Mat doesn't appear in The Path of Daggers at all, and Winter's Heart ends with him kidnapping Tuon. According to your description, you're thinking of Crossroads of Twilight, Chapter 28. The promise he makes her is to buy her dresses that actually fit rather than what she's forced to wear at the circus.

That topic is not grammatically correct at all, by the way... it makes no sense as written.

Not so much buying the dresses, as allowing Tuon to go into town for the shopping.

the second one is easy, that was the Dark One flexing. Perrin and Zarine, were not the only to feel it, they were the only POV of it.

I agree. That was most probably an attempt by the Dark One to test the sealing of the Bore. And I think it might be a try on behalf of the Dark One to shatter the remaining 3 seals. This was felt twice wich might imply there are now only one seal left intact. We only get two POV:s on this but it was probably felt all over the world.

I am not sure I remember this happening two times, Perrin and Zarine felt the same Flex, it was not two seperate flexes.  :).  I would would not agree at all that any of the 3 seals have been broken, they are in the hands of Bashere, at least I am pretty certian they are. If they had broken, He would have told Rand, I will never beleive Bashere is Friend of the Dark, until I read in the book.  :)

Checking book......

We do get two POV:s and you are probably right in that they tell about the same incident. (4 years since I read the book) No time to reread. :-\

(This is just my idea) Talking about the seals there is still the possibility that the shockwave might have shattered one of the seals. (They will break somehow and I liked the idea that it would happen that way)  Bashere might not have had the time to check on them and tell Rand. I do not believe Bashere is a darkfriend.
