Festival of the fortress

this been discussed before, lets see if we cant come up with some kind of holiday or special day that should or would be celebrated among the dreadlords for centuries

 

any sugestions of age are welcome, all the way back to the breaking or before...it can be conected to a deed, or just mythologywise, like a special day or night of the year

 

one that could potentialy in future be expanded by ic asuming of it being celebrated in all df circles would ex be when the nights grow longer and the days shorter before summer, but its not like we only need to have one, so if anyone have anything else, maybe something particular to the dreadlords as such...sugest away (poke into the history and see if there is something of interest)

I'd say we'd celebrate the anniversary of the Bore. After all, it was the time the DO was released upon the world, not to mention that the Forsaken are all old enough to remember it happening in person.

mainly i would want to put this in the retro timeless space of the intiates, so the only chosen around would be demandred

Perhaps we could take an other-wise harmless holiday and make it an anniversary for something bad for us to celebrate. Kind of like a Valentine's Day Massacre...

Or maybe a feast of creation. Celebrating the creation of fades and trollocs, etc.

 

Or even a turning feast where once a year everyone meets up for a feast and a dance to celebrate turning to the shadow.

...Knowing Demandred, he'd probably celebrate the anniversary of his own Turning, or the creation of Dragonmount a.k.a. death of Lews Therin.

 

Just my two cents though.
