Taim's black tower

well we know that there is a division within the black tower between taim and logain im not sure how big the split is but there are soldiers on each side. also when taim and his followers reveal themselves as dread lords they will have logain, all aes sedi, and every army in randland on their trail. i dont know that taking him out will be easy but i think he will be so busy keeping his head attached to his shoulders that he will not be able to be as much of an assett to the shadow as anticipated.

I think it might actually be Logain that deals with them; because of Egwene's Dream & Min's Viewing.

Easiest way might be to do something to Taim then replace his rank with someone else.

Various possibilities on what that something could be:

-Kill Taim.

-Shield Taim then trap him in a box of Air.

-Gentle Taim then hold him as a prisoner.

-Do Compulsion on Taim.

-If a binder for male channelers is found, use it to have Taim to swear fealty.

Something that might help Rand's group is that Taim and his followers aren't as concerned with learning the sword because they feel its beneath them. I could see something like what happened at Far Madding, happening again. Somehow get Taim's group shielded or in a Stedding and take them apart with swords.

That would be a slap in the face. RJ does actually mention that quite often, foreshadowing perhaps?

Why would that be a slap in the face? I think it would be quite a fitting end to Taim, who happens to be quite the over confident one.

It would be a slap in the face to Taim because he's mocked Rand's decision to have the Asha'man learn to use swords since the beginning.
